@@blastortoiseyou havent seen the clip of mark dying on the first night after say the first nights arent usually thag bad Also fnaf 4 has stuff that will prevent you from standing stil, and winning
I love how Chica sends her cupcake into kill you if she's set to kill you while youre in the middle of the room. I imagine that she's just Frisbeeing the cupcake plate at you from the doorway
The nightmare cupcake jumpscare does bring up a logic fallacy as in why can't the crying child/evan/(insert whatever fanon name as there are too many here) just punch the cupcake away? it a goddamn cupcake i don't care if it has teeth it can still be punched away that goes double for the nightmare pumpkin that jack o chica has
@@georgiepig5726 his canon name is evan afton, the cupcake is huge and almost definitely made of metal, even if you did punch it chica would probably get pissed off and kill you anyway. With that being said this is the nightmare of a child with a damaged brain so take "logic" with a grain of salt.
@@gaIIowsCaIibrator On the contrary William is a (evil) genius who made simple mistakes, which smart people often do. Michael I could argue for being very intelligent or very stupid.
REALLY?! chica’s breathes don’t sound like breathes to me they’re usually so much quieter than bonnie’s and so i think they’re just footsteps so sometimes i can’t tell if she’s at the door or not 😭
Yeah. Scott is such a troll for coding that. My first time playing it my friend and I’s rule was “close it even if you aren’t sure if it’s breathing.” That caused many deaths
They can only make it to your door when you close it if they are in the actual hall, if they are in the living room they will not. Also if you manage to get them to your door this way, you have to open and reclose the door to get them away.
fnaf 4 "expert" here. The flickering is a way to show how much danger you're in. It goes like this, the closer Bonnie and Chica are, the higher the danger is, the higher the stage of foxy, the more danger. And the more freddles you have, the more danger. All of this is tracked and added up to a number that determines how frequently the light flickers.
@@CoolEdo oh, yeah way nightmare/fredbear works is different, if you don't close the door on them fast enough they kill you. It flickers because of the jumpscare for what I assume is a smooth transition to being back at the center of the room since Scott never bothered making different jumpscare animations.
Might be a strange comment, but as someone who only just recently has had the ability to download and play some of the Fnaf games, it’s nice seeing someone with roughly the same experience as myself be able to try (and beat!) so many of the more difficult challenges. Your persistence is weirdly inspiring, and I find myself coming back to your videos when I get frustrated at myself for being unable to beat a night. So thanks for that, internet dude 👍✨
Thank you, that means a lot to hear! I won't lie, it can definitely be frustrating when I'm on run 50+ for a challenge, but I've learned to be patient with myself, and take breaks. Honestly, sometimes just taking a few days off from playing it and coming back refreshed is all it takes. :D
I’ve always had access to playing the games, but I never wanted to beat them till now. I’ve managed to beat FNaF Nights 1-7, FNaF 2 Nights 1-7 (yes I did all the custom night challenges even 10/20) and FNaF 3 all 4 stars, Still trying to do fnaf 4 4/20 and the extra challenges but it’s very hard.
22:58 That’s a good old case of the 20 AI robots moving backwards the absolute second the door closes, and then instantly teleporting back to the door.
Apparently, the Freddy in 20/20/20/20 mode is actually only at about AI level 6 'cause if he was at 20 the night would be literally impossible. As every 4 seconds he adds his AI level to a hidden meter that- when it reaches 60- is almost 100% going to kill you. So if he was on 20 he'd only take about 12 seconds to kill you or something like that.
You bring up flickering a couple of times in the video. If you mean the flashlight flickering then I can explain that. It's basically a built in indication to how much danger you are in. There is a few different stages of flashlight flicker that increase intensity based on a couple of factors. Some examples of such factors are Foxy's stage, if someone is at the door, and the amount of Freddles on the bed. The flashlight can actually go pretty nuts sometimes with the flickering. Oh and don't give me credit for this. Someone else found this stuff out and I'm just repeating it here. Edit: OOOOOH... watching back I see what you meant. I definitely saw some major screen tearing going on.
That is normal. The jump scares aren't that scary even as a kid. I was a freshman I think when these games came out and I think I only screamed a small handful of times over the course of all the FNAF games. Usually I just gasp and that is it. Especially since sometimes you can tell you are about to be jump scared.
As someone who just recently got all ten stars twice in a row, in a journey to 100% every single FNaF game. I didn't die ONCE until night 4 on my first go round. And it wasn't till All Nightmare where I began to get absolutely destroyed.
Bro 4/20 literally easy af But all nightmare? I am the fastest I can be not even using light anymore to be faster and always at like 3-4 am he randomly decides to kill me even though it took me like a second to get to him
Note for animatronic AI: if you close the door while they're at the end of the hall, they'll immediately jump to the door, but the door will be unable to send them away until you open it and close it again.
I honestly have no idea. It was usually 2 - 3 people max, but it's too much for this game. The previous 3 games weren't a problem, so I didn't really think about it before starting this one lol
Just recently found due to your fnaf vids I genuinely like your positive personality in these vids and the quality that goes into these and I hope that it continues
I've never heard anyone else encounter these glitches but in the version I played when the flashlight would successfully shine on an animation icon there would be a long delay between the button press and the light turning on, this was especially nerve racking with foxy because it would force me to hold the light on him during his screaming faze
A tip to be able to beat plushtrap first try is to listen to his footsteps. He has a tiptoe sound effect and a walking sound effect. When you hear him tiptoe twice right when you hear him walk, flash your light, and he will always be on the x. Also, the tiptoes do not have to be in a row. As long as you hear him tiptoe twice, you can flash the light when he walks and win.
It sounds like the biggest problem is the glitches. I don’t know why, but I mainly noticed in fnaf world and ultimate custom night, if you play the game for long enough, it starts breaking. I don’t know if the sounds are the same volume, but it at least seems easier in fnaf vr, especially since noises keep getting switched up or delayed for seemingly no reason. Why Scott will never patch these games, I do not know. It seems like bad business, especially when people paid for a product that keeps breaking
I think I've encountered 3 bugs in this game, firstly sometimes the screen just freezes for like ten seconds, which is super annoying and usually just ends up killing you. Then there is the Nightmare bug whereit plays the same sound (f.e. going to the left) like 5 times without him actually being there (I checked with chears), then the Nightmare soon comes and it's back to normal, this one is actually not so bad. And the last one, which happened to me once, was when I was playing the game (I don't remember if Night 7 or 8) in the "Nightmare" mode and as I was just minding my own business tryna defeat it, and then fricking Cupcake killed me?! Apparently this is a known bug, but it's just not fixed for whatever reason. It's pretty annoying when you spent money on it, but they are not that common, so eh, whatever,
Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear aren't that bad, they're easy once you get the hang of them. On my playthrough from night 1 to 7 I never died to them, door animatronics are the real threats here. Also if you close the door when they're at the middle of the hall, they'll teleportright to your door and you'l most likely die. Close it only when you hear breathing.
Yeah, a lot of this video was just learning how to reliably deal with Nightmare. The unforgiving timing makes it harder to learn through trial and error, but I think getting All Nightmare done first helped me a lot in that regard
this is my favorite game in the series so I was so excited to see this in my notifications! love your content, Nate, keep it up! it's a joy to listen to while i draw ^^
I wanna get all of the stars myself, but it’s too goddamn scary for me and I can’t get motivation to play, what did you do to actually brute force yourself through?
It was kind of a mix of three things: having friends on a discord call, talking to my Twitch chat, and learning more about the game mechanics. The more I know about a game, the more I can start to tell when I'm likely to get jumpscared, so I can mentally prepare for it. In FNAF 4 during the Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy sections, you pretty much only get jump scared if you turn the flashlight on when someone is at the door, or when turning towards/away from the bed. Foxy also does a little jumpscare at the closet, but you can skip this entirely by just never shining the flashlight there. With Fredbear/Nightmare, the screen flickers and goes dark before they get you so you have a bit of warning before the jumpscare actually happens. If all else fails, I take a breather to talk with chat, or do a Google search to see where I went wrong with gameplay. You've got this! :)
@@TooLittleTooNateAnd Nightmare has the least scary jumpscare in the series Like it makes Springtrap’s FNaF 3 and Foxy’s FNaF 1 jumpscares look good in comparison
@@TooLittleTooNate Thank you so much Nate, I wanted to beat every fnaf game before the movie came out, and this was the one game i was putting off, i finally started playing it yesterday and I somehow beat night 5, 6, and nightmare all first try, all I needed was some motivation and you gave me that. I love your content and thank you for helping me!
i finally got all of the stars and i would’ve still been on night 4 if it wasn’t this video showing that someone did all of it and always pushed on. thank you so much nate, so excited for the SL video!
Hey man, just saw your video and I wanted to say that it was very well made. Keep up the good work. I found that the #2 blue star for me was by far the hardest one. It was probably because I had the Halloween Edition on and Nightmare Mangle was a pain to deal with. I think the hardest thing for me without it on however wouldn't be the animatronics itself, it would probably be me getting lost
Thanks! Blind Mode is definitely the most annoying part of doing the blue stars. I had a lot of failed runs where I got turned around, or couldn't quite click the right spot to move to the closet. Spam-clicking in the general area of where I wanted to go was the only thing that helped me tbh
These videos are super fun! Some of these challenges I didn't even know about in a few of these games, like FNAF3 aggressive mode. By the time I've finished the standard 5 nights, then night 6, 4/20, and nightmare, I usually just sort of assume that's where it ends and don't really go looking in the menus for more. I also love all the stats breakdowns at the end, you put the graphs together really nicely and they're really satisfying to look at. I personally think you're better at FNAF than you give yourself credit for (this game is way harder than it looks imo, it's just so punishing), but it really is your persistence that makes these especially fun to watch.
Thanks! Honestly, going into the series I kind of thought that it was just Night 1 - 6 + 4/20 mode or equivalent. But of course, with each game Scott added more and more extra challenges to complete. It's nice though, even if some of them are crazy difficult. Between completing everything and recording extra footage for the video, I have an average of about 10 - 12 hours per game, so its a lot to get through :)
17:45 I beg to differ, it’s the way he stares at you for me, he looks like he just wants to eat you, not only that, lore-wise, the jumpscare makes sense.
also, if u hold the door when someone isn't there, the animatronic will move faster towards the corrisponding door as a punishment of some sort (holding the left door when bonnie isn't there will make him move towards that door faster and same with chica and the right door)
Now you made me imagine Nightmare Bonnie and Chica munching on a bucket of popcorn as they walk down the hall, or just them sat in the living room watching TV and asking the other to "check on the kid"
The flickering isn't the freddles, they cause most of the flickering, but it's the amount of danger your in and it stacks Bonnie/chica in the hall is a danger point, at the door is more, foxy in the closet is a danger point and I think it accumulates the further he's progressed.
Since you beat Night 1 for the first time deathless, I don't think the second time playing Night 1 should count as having any deaths since you already progressed to Night 2 prior to clicking New Game.
Also sister location is like a 4 hour game when done perfectly so it might be a bigger video doing the whole game and all the challenges on very hard. Pizza sim is somewhat of a short game just making you do 6 endings. UCN oh god. There 18 challenges to do. Plus the insanity of things like 40/20, 45/20, 48/20, 49/20 and oh god 50/20 which sucks. I think 50/20 should be a video on its own. Help wanted 1 has way too many mini games. Plus it has DLC which has a few missions. Security Breach has 6 different 100% missions and the world record for doing all is 16 hours and that’s for a speedrun. Ruin and help wanted 2 aren’t out by he time I’m making this comment so we don’t know much.
If you want more information on the AIs of the main four, here you go ^^ so basically freddy has four stages. Depending on his difficulty (ie, 6 on 20/20/20/20 mode), that's how much he adds to the meter. He can add up to 60 before he kills you at the bed, and 80 in the room. Every 4 seconds he adds his AI's value to the meter. 10 is 1 freddle, 20 is 2, 30 is 3, and you get a major break for 30-60. Bonnie and Chica have an anticheat function. If you close the door twice, they immediately come to the door. Closing it a third time lets them go back to starting position. Foxy will go down either hall. He can be scared away like chica and bonnie, but if you check the opposite hallway, he'll get into your room. He has movement opportunities like fnaf1 foxy, and has stages aswell. Stage 1 is plushie, 2 is standing, 3 is crouched, 4 is when he's tryna eat you. The growling is a 1 time thing per night.
These videos are interesting, I take it that you don't do horror games very well? It took me a long time to get used to the jumpscares in this game than any other fnaf game I've seen gameplay of. You have guts my friend! 👍Keep your chin up lol.
Idk if you ever found it out, but the flickering of the lights either just nothing, or (it’s either for this game or fnaf2) representative of the danger you’re in. Like, if Bonnie/chica aren’t close and foxy isn’t in the room and there are no freddles, the light won’t flicker as much. But if Bonnie/chica are close and there are 3 freddles and foxy is in the room, it’ll flicker a bunch more (gets more throughout the nights) Like I said, this might just be fnaf2, but it’s not the freddles or anything!!
hey Nate! just wanted to say that your videos are super entertaining and your courage to keep pushing foward despite u being scared as hell is making me want to go back to those games and beat them complete! please, don't stop making this content of yours! we all really love it
Same! I think I just got tremendously unlucky with them tbh because even when replaying for extra footage to add to the video, I never saw the door glitch or the screen going black again
@zvstxIf you hold the door shut while they aren't there they will warp directly to your door and basically kill you unless you open it and wait for the breathing again.
I know that this isnt a mainline game i highly recommend the fangame fazbear entertainment storgae for this series its nights and cutom night challenges are fun and challenging
im bit late but the Bonnie door and foxy closet glitches ive gotten tons of time and there super annoying but by pressing F2 u can instantly restart your game!
Also, best strategy for either Plushtrap or BB is to avoid the flashlight altogether until they hit the X. The key is in their footsteps. They go: 1. sneaking (off the chair) 2. dash (into a sideroom) 3. sneaking (sitting at the center of the hall) 4. dash (another side room) 5. sneaking (on the X) 6. sneaking (You're dead.) Plushtrap has to wait a movement opportunity to kill you after being on the X (2 seconds) whereas BB takes literally half a second to kill you. Best bet is, no matter who, flash them the second you hear the third sneaking sound.
I'm not sure myself honestly. I spent some time before finishing this video trying to replicate the door issue, but wasn't able to make it happen, even with the house map cheat enabled to keep track of where the animatronics are. I know the game had some minor updates later on to make it run properly in full screen which caused issues with getting it to show up in OBS for me, but I don't think that's the cause. The only thing I can think of that I was doing differently was screensharing it in discord, but that alone doesn't seem to trigger it. I've only found a few mentions of it online, so at the very least I'm not the only person with the issue, but it doesn't seem very common. I want to do some more testing to see what's causing it, but I don't really have the time at the moment unfortunately. If I ever do figure out the cause I'll probably make a shorter video about it though!
hey i love ur content keep up the great work and would u be doing sister location next also u say ur bad at the games but ur really not ur a lot better than me anyway like i cant beat any of the 20/20/20/20 modes
Thanks! Sister Location is up next, most likely in a couple of weeks. I think I'm getting better at these games the more I play them, but I definitely struggle a lot still 😅
@@TooLittleTooNate oh my you responded I never thought a big youtuber would ever respond to a comment of mine thank you so much and I do agree the more you play the games they get easier do you have any tips for night 7 Fnaf 4 I always struggle when I get to 4am (nightmare)
No prob! It's pretty reliant on sound cues to figure out where he is. I go over them a bit in the All Nightmare section around 29:00, since he works the same for both. Sometimes he'll laugh, but not actually appear in the room which means it was fake. There isn't a definitive way to tell if it was fake or real other than by checking the closet and bed/if you hear him running after he laughs. Some runs just aren't possible to win because he's a cheater like that.
@@TooLittleTooNate haha yh i do agree again he is a little cheater but also sometimes it sounds like he went left but then hes right and its impossible to come back and get there on time but thanks for the tips :)
So if chica or Bonnie are at the end of the hall and you don’t shine your flashlight on them and instead close the door they will move up to your door and you have to reopen them close your door again to get rid of them
1 Year ago, I was just speedruning Five Nights At Pinkie's 4, and I passed the first 4 nights without using doors. But, can you tell me, please, was there a bug in FNAF 4 where you could just afk at Foxy?
