As a dancer, I find those arm movements very logical and it even felt satisfying how I could understand the dynamic right away! Usually I stuggle longer to determine how the movement works, these arms very intuitive for me!

@@misskay6831for the most part, she actually is doing the moves right! the arm movements actually go on the “drama ma ma ma” words instead of the beat itself. it might look out of place cause most of the movements in the chorus go with the lyrics and not necessarily the beat
@@melodi996 she mostly hit the beat, idk if you've attempted to dance it yourself but theres basically one half step extra starting from the first beat so it seems confusing and off tempo when it's actually right (except for the beginning when that arm was too slow I admit)

Why does this dance look like the Just Dance version of a choreography I would expect in an Aespa’s song. I wanted more and I hate that in the chorus the hands twist fully opened instead of fists it’s just feels so unnatural for me
I think the problem with this is the hands, specifically the fingers. If you watch aespa’s challenges with other idols, they keep focusing on the specific finger placement: the hands aren’t flui, they’re rather stiff.

And there are more details that she didn’t do such as the pops and the movements are more harsh and controlled at the same time. I know she have something about her wrist so that’s probably why she didn’t do them but to do it right is more difficult than a 4/10 I think
The problem is that the dance just looks extremely awkward. Most people look like they're jsut flailing their arms around and the stiff moves really do not help it at all.
