*this was very helpful Josie, thank you...i deal with depression and have for many decades not that i wallow in constant misery i do have prolonged episodes of normalcy and what passes for joy but the depression is always there in the background ready to pounce a a moments notice...art is my sanity therapy and a solace when i can get away to a quiet place and create it without distractions...life gets in the way most of the time and other obligations tend to take center stage at the most inconvenient times of artistic inspiration which is frustrating which is why i always carry a notebook to scribble down notes to prompt the ideas again later*
