I just bought a backpack from Pegai. Absolutely amazing!! The material and the craftsmanship of this backpack is top tier! Tanner, keep the good work up! You are going places man!!
And we thank you for cutting each one of these up! It's important to keep buyers informed of the products companies produce. I'm happy to spend more to get a product that in many cases will last a lifetime. The troubling part is well known brands that started on taking pride in high quality products have now started to cut corners. It may not work for everything but companies being transparent about cost increases without compromises is a game changer.
Pegai does 25% now !!! I m over excited and this time I'm smarter , after reading their stuff for a few days , I will choose only Italian leather from them now !
It's insane on they do 25% off It's just because it's black Friday Doesn't mean they are going to work 25% less hard Or 25% less material cost So I'm so proud to grab some good stuff on the sale
Happy Holidays to both you and your family. May God continue to bless you all. Thank you for the education. I have steered away from “luxury” items. :)
You talk about sustainability a lot. Have you ever tried vegetable leather bags for a review? The ones made from mushrooms, pineapple leaves. I'm curious what your thoughts are on this, maybe for another podcast of yours.
@tanner.leatherstein not cutting them up, reviewing the design and concepts for creating them, i care about bags more when I know the creative drive to produce them
@ xbagy included, it is my unwavering belief that without being a practitioner, one will never perceive any dissimilarity in the sack's looks or the metallic elements.
I think it's still very different in pronunciation in Pegai and that word You are safe ! ( That word in Cantonese is when you want to curse someone to fall on the street badly )
I saw your store and Etsy page all your leather collection is bad it’s ugly you sell all leather but not genuine leather so stop comparing your leather to the luxury .
He’s basically doing market research on video. To discover how the competition makes their leather bags at what price point. Automakers for example would buy a brand new car from a rival automaker just to strip it up to destruction for exactly the same thing. The engineers could even discover to learn new production techniques in the process. Which they could apply to their own products. I read that on a Wired magazine article.
Business expenses! You can deduct these deconstructed bags from business taxes. It doesn’t cover all the expenses because what you pay isn’t equal to your tax deduction, but it helps!!
@@pamelas1002 i bought the small Italian Leather Lucky , it will arrive tomorrow. I got my husband a bifold from Pegai too. Got to stop from here and keep collecting when there is more stuff I like
😂 what about leather made in India? Would appreciate your thoughts. I have an Indian leather jacket, I find the leather tough but the black dye layer too easy to rub off.
I would like to know , if you are such the expert, how come you destroy all of these bags? Why can’t you deconstruct them AND then reconstruct them back to their original? I have seen this done and done beautifully by other RU-vidrs. I’ve even seen them save some bags that were destroyed by weather and such
Oh my God... I had no idea you had you own brand! I couldn't click on the link fast enough. I am stunned at the reasonable pricing on everything because there is no doubt that you use high quality materials, and your designs are very chic, and look very high end. Does anyone know where the goods ship from? Thinking of Christmas gifts, but not sure how quick shipping is in the US. I hope this brand excels beyond all of the high end brands.
Your reviews of leather quality for specific brands are what got me interested in leather goods (and leather crafting)! Please keep it up, they are so helpful and eye-opening! Would also love to hear your thoughts on Patricia Nash's leather quality at some point if possible (from what I know it's vegetable tanned, and they claim to be full grain leather. There's also an interesting glossy finish on top that I haven't really seen in other bag brands).
