Dear Dr Burton, thank you for a very informative presentation. You covered many of the questions I have currently and some which I didn’t know I had until you addressed them. I feel relieved to hear that my current academic trajectory can still take me to a clinical residency with good confidence. All the best.
Thanks for informative presentation. Can you recommend any University in US for PhD in medical physics with financial support ?? For international Student specially for non English language country like India, Bangladesh. Please reply🙏
Hi Christiane, I’m from Ghana but currently living in the USA. I had my undergrad in Physics at the University of Cape of Coast. I’m really stuck on which direction I should go. I have had a desire to go into GeoPhysics, Medical Physics and now Cyber Security. Medical Physics is really what I want to delve into but do not have much information on. Like you said it’s a growing field and things are changing, please could you help me through this and where to go to get informed about this program Medical Physics. Thank you very much. Michael
Thanks for a very complete and orientive video!! About financial aid or scholarships could you tell me some advices I've seen and the PhD courses is very high, in special, for international students becoming as critical to have a scholarship preferly or financial aid. I have Bsc in Physics and MSc in Medical Physics and I want to become a qualified medical physicist and it's a long way, maybe 7 years. For that reason scholarship or finacial aid is critical. Thanks for your respond!! =)
How much would it typically cost for a certification - I'm guessing the same as a year's tuition at the institution providing the certification? So the Avg slots per program are for the residency programs?
I have done Msc in Physics..i want to do something that relates biology and physis.I am not an expert in programming and maths..i like theories in physics and biology...will this course suite me? Plz reply..
Hi there thanks for the really informative video. Currently, I am trying to learn python to complete my master's research project related to Deformable image registration. Can you please suggest some references or material for learning python coding especially for manipulation of DICOM image data.
Hey! Thanks for the video. I am from India. I did my bachelor's course in Engineering. I am willing to do MS in Medical Physics in US. Can you recommend some universities which have the best job opportunities?
Hi, I'm from india. I have completed my M.Sc in radiation physics and done one year Internship in hospital containing medical linear accelerators (Varian, elekta) Cobalt machine and also brachytherapy. So is there any vacancies there for medical physicist
