Thank you for the video. I am currently leading the youth group at my church. It is a small church in a rural area. Our regular youth group attendance is 5 or so per week. I have tried the “big” events too but they didn’t “stick.” I definitely agree that a deeper relationship is key.

My doubt was rooted in skepticism. That in turn caused me to explore not just Christianity but other religions. Eventually that led to atheism. That was my "journey" metaphorically speaking and atheism was my destination after many years of inquiry.

Hey Aaron, my youth group is mostly kids who come from a sketchy place in the city and are just beginning in there Christian journey. I feel like I know everything I'm being taught. What should I do?

hey jonah thanks for watching. i heard it put like this, "christian pricniples is like a rock and you are trying to float it. how do you float a rock? put it on a log" the log would be something that they connect to or agree with. teach them something about something they think they already know. as the bible instructor you have all truth in your hand. you are powered by the Holy Spirit. you can do this man. that and remember sound travels slow. they are listening.
