I think a much better place to start for most people is to prioritize the right stats for their current build. I'm playing a shadowhunter as my current main, and i was missing the last 200-something spec on an accessory, this week i finally got a piece that had the last spec that i could get and my dps has improved a lot since i get into demon form in a single rotation and i do more damage in demon form now. Now i get MVP a lot more and after realizing this, i have also noticed how a lot of people don't prioritize their stats enough. They might have good engraving and gems, but their stats are all over the place, because they just picked the accessories that gave them the engravings they wanted and neglected stats in the proces.
This is an issue that is deep rooted by now. Streamers/RU-vidrs have misinformed the masses and the community is heavily pushing the same narrative that if you don't have atleast 3x3 engravings, you're not worth joining a group. It's ridiculous. They let in folks without gems, wrong stats and perhaps bad engravings (as in not best in slot) in and don't give a damn to check if everything is alright. I prefer a 2x3 character with right stats than some omega loser wannabe who bought the cheapest accessories just to look like a whale, but ending up looking like a turkey.
Also, you can see roughly your dps even if not mvp. Each title you get corresponds to a dps range. Fighter is 20-29% as an example. 30-39% has an other title I don't remember then I think it is cruel for 40+%
How do you get the yeti transformation? Also, you say awakening are super armor, but a guardian raid boss legit grabbed me out of my spirit bomb mid cast, I assumed with super armor this wouldn't happen?
Some attacks go through superarmor, like grab attacks. Awakening has Super Armor for Push Immunity and Debuff Immunity, meaning regular attacks will not stop you nor attacks that apply a Debuff like "Freeze". Grab Attacks are unique mechanic that override any superarmor
Does the animation cancel work on RE db on her charge skills? Her void strike has some end animation, can I cancel it with blitz rush ? (Not sure about the skill names)
they will stay a meme class cause they are still the most squishy class and since they are not like bard who is also squishy but can shield don’t expect much from reaper sure it’s fun to play as reaper but it’s not for high end legion raids sure argos and valtan is fine but then he will only be your pet to gather mats
@@naxtcenarius IN pvp yes in pve reaper is beyond op in terms of damage but only in 2% of lost ark players can play him effieciently and i assume we dont know any pros yet
atk i feel my damage is lacking my engravings are grudge3/hit master/keen blunt and 1 peace maker my stat are 1200 crit 500 swiftness any tips for gunslinger?
Get rid of keen blunt go for adrenaline and move your swiftness to spec, 1400 gunslinger 3x3x3x1x1 (hitmaster, cursed doll, adrenaline 3 peace, crisis evasion 1) I do literally 50%+ damage on 75% of gaurdian raids right now, I will admit qol on swiftness is much nicer but you will do alot more damage with spec it will take getting used too. Keep grudge but definitely replace keen blunt for adrenaline as your crit isn't as high as it needs to be to use it properly especially without adrenaline 3
I currently have 987 crit ( I'd like 1200 taking off swiftness for crit ) 897 spec 399 swift, I've tried out every possible (good) build and this is by far the most damage
Gotta say, that might be true in more complicated missions like legion raids, but right now, berserkers and sorcerers faceroll their keyboard and get mvp
@@darth3261 For current content it's kinda true though from what I've seen. Not really a problem since what we have isn't what the game is actually balanced around though but yeah
Right now the content on the west is relatively easy compared to the KR content. Soon those same class need to reconsider their gameplay since they might not be able to pull the same "faceroll" moves that you described
I mean, for most players I see in my missions, one part is they don't know how to avoid damage and knockdowns, but often they run suboptimal builds. Not using Grudge is one example, but also the tripods they use, the gems, and also stat distribution. Even with weaker classes, if you build them correctly you get MVP just by not having a bad build. Often I see players opting for more survivability or going Spirit Absorbtion or other random engravings that don't make sense. You can always improve your survivability by honing, or even better, not getting hit, instead of nerfing your damage.
Please stop shoving grudge down on people’s throat. People can’t build their main stats, let alone dodge mechanics and you want them to cascade even further into their death sentence.. tell them to get crit and keen blunt with adrenalin, disrespect etc etc just stop forcing grudge on people, it makes no sense for over half the playerbase.
@@balistikcious If someone uses good engravings, they might be good they might be bad, if I see someone is running heavy armor on a dps class, they are shit 100 percent of the time
@@xxmapleprosxx It still makes it harder. My friends and I playing in Australia complain about rubber-banding at least 5 times an abyssal raid. Sure we get them done easily, but it doesn't make it any more enjoyable.
@@ticklemytalons1711 I know. Plenty of Australians that are up to p3 argos, they just live with it and learn the fights, slowly learn things or just move on til maybe a oce server but most likely they won't do it
I normally just use heavy armour as a level 1 or 2 engraving and just focus on getting my rotation out instead of being tickled to death. At lower defence being hit is more scary than doing damage as the benefit of one doomsday < the con of getting hit for 30% of my health, unless you have a support Edit: As a level 1 or 2 engraving. At level 1 the penalty of grudge is "neutralised" and at level 2 you will no longer be that guy who always dies in raids for playing squishy gunslingers/deadeyes, etc. I dont think many other level 1 or 2 engraving options outweigh the benefits from heavy armor. Especially since we havent caught up with KR raids yet. I have heard grudge reiterated so many times that people even use grudge 1 and 2, but no one actually recommends that. (Although it "should be fine" as you are supposed to git gud and dodge everything 100%)
Its bad later you lose a lot of dps. Because you will miss a dps engraving. And with valtan you will have problems finding a group when you not queue with your guild.
@@Complexyz You take 40% more damage? With grudge? Did you hear that from a youtuber? If yes which youtuber told you that? If no did you even read the engraving description or is there a wording error that i didnt hear about?
This. The perpetuation of the idea that MVP is important is really toxic. People complain that a DPS meter would be toxic, yet think MVP screen is good? All it does is push people to play more aggressively/less smart so they can have a chance at being "MVP". Hence why support take it 99% of the time. Then, if you don't get it, you feel bad, for some reason, like it even matters. It's all toxic. Saying this as a bard main, who is sick of MVP.
@@vthenarheqa I agree that if there's an MVP screen might as well tell everyone their stats, they either take it negatively like babies or use it to learn how to do better....or take away the mvp screen lol
Thats because ure not playing with better players. If ur team is good, a support shall never be mvp because theres nothing to heal. A support becomes mvp when his team sucks and takes lots of damage from everything, which is the current Na/eu players
@@ndragon88 1) dpser avoid taking much damage (not check) 2) dpser high damage (check) 3) dpser battle items contribution (check) Total 2/3 points 1) support avoid taking much damage (check) 2) support heal/shield and keep team alive (check) 3) support battle items contribution (check) Total 3/3 points. @@TheScrappyWu I still see it as a big buff, especially for parties. Now I can use the 2 6% debuff skills instead of 1 and the self buff. I know they don't stack but it can have 100% up time
@@ProvaBeK You can have 100% uptime with only one skill tho? The Skill has 8 seconds cooldown, debuff lasts 6 but you are Half-Half Crit/Swiftness and there's a 20% CD reduction Gem.
Pretty much what changes is that you're maxing W instead of Q from what I've read as Taijutsu. You will gain xx% ATK up to 380% based on amount of enemies. Currently on EU/NA she gains 14.8% up to 5 targets. Following the same logic she'd gain ~70ish % ATK for 3 second when maxing your W tripod ( the one you use to debuff ). That way her DMG output is actually increased tremendously, by gaining 2.5x more ATK and ganing 24% more DMG.
@@antekordic that's true. I was just looking at my scrapper and I think I've decided what I want to do. Instant hit does really nice damage but I prefer the easier to use counter attack. So I think I will swap out the self buff to add instant hit just for damage
