I've heard the call, and it has been confirmed by my pastor. The problem with me is that I feel unworthy of the calling. The more I pray about it, the stronger the call.
I used to work my previous job striving to get money. I realize that it’s work In vain. After being called all I want to do is volunteer and work on becoming a pastor. Before I was working for myself now I want to help others
God .first called me in 1995 through John 21 :16 when I was 25 . And again on fathers days 2020 with a miracle of deliverance from porn addiction of 30 years . Now completely gone . And the gift of shepherd and a promise 1Sam 26:7 . Amen . I’m currently in ministry prep 🙏 please help me lord
God has been speaking to me for years. Usually, I know, what He wants. He took my husband out of my life & not by death. Finally, he was holding me back on so many levels. I'm an advocate for anything I agree with, to protect others & not those selfish marches. I am a writer for inspiration & encouragement & I teach to protect. I sing religious uplifting songs. The only problem, people are fighting me every step of the way. I found some people who are supportive & I have been called a therapist by my doctor. Money, outside of human needs matters not at all. Lately, I'm not sure what He wants me to do. I know, I'm on the right path. I was brought up religiously & I was a choir member for years.
We are all called to share the gospel but to be a minister I agree you need to have a greater love than most because when there's no finances and testing on all sides you must stand firm in Jesus as be not moved. But everyone should witness and testify to someone ,anyone in your path when your just living your day to day life. Pray about it def because God generally confirms his word by the mouth of2/3 witnesses. That being said the word is a witness to itself and we are all called to witness our own personal testimony. Now as far as pastoring you need to love and be walking spiritually with God and you need to have an extensive knowledge of the Holy Scripture.
your all points are good except No:2. If God call us we don't need to get confirmation from anybody else. This is something between you and God. The things which we feel others can't feel that thing so they will deny our decision. If God has talked to get ready for his ministry then pack bags. If God confirms then we don't need any confirmation from others.
Ashish Syrus sometimes God gives confirmation from people..in my case I wasn’t seeking confirmation and it happened more than once. I think confirmation is something God needs to give
This video was a good. I had different people tell me that I'm a preacher. I'm praying to God to lead me or give me direction. Sometimes I doubt myself, but I want to be obedient to what God wants me to do.
I feel the calling, but I'm terrified to look for confirmation in others. I worry that I don't know how to pursue this calling and if I ask my pastor for guidance he'll discourage me from education. Maybe I will need to explore more options but I'm still scared
Ive had many ministers tell me that i was called to preach the gosbel of jesus christ and i dreamed that at the time my pastors daughter told me in a dream that im suppose to be a prophet but i was yeilding to the wrong spirit and that was 10 years ago and now im starting to understand my gift i rejected it
Hey...I feel like God is calling me in to ministry.I just can't think of anything better to do.The thought of ministry is ecxiting and it is like a fire burning in me.I have no idea what to do since I am only 14 years and I am not even sure if I am being called.Please help
Go to facebook. Look for Elmarco Love. He was called to preach at age 10. He is proof that God has no age limit. You cannot be too young or too old for God to use you.

if you feel that God has connected you to a particular ministry...and the leader has issues...the only thing that you are required to do is sincerely pray...and sit patiently and allow God to be God... remember God is Intentional
Then maybe you should just minister to women, there is nothing wrong with that. And besides, women really need it right now. It's good to get together and feel safe knowing there's no men looking at us.
This is the case with many female ministers. You should continue to pray and seek God's council. Allow Him to direct to someone who can lead you into your next step. God called you for a reason and for a purpose. It is not up to man to discount that. I was in a church with a minister who felt that way, but God led me away from that ministry before I heard the call. I still feel unworthy and that I have so much to learn, but I must be obedient to God's call. You must be also. Much love you!!
I passed the test for being called and was licensed after 4 years of observation by my pastor why 10 year later have I grown to have a lack of passion to preach the word. Help🙏 there's no sin that I see the holy spirit. Convicting me of.
I don't know about the confirmation from others part. I think if God says it, it is enough. Others can say it but asking I am not sure about. I once felt like God was calling me into music ministry backup singer in church. I told my father who is in ministry I want to go into ministry and he said I am copying my younger sister who is in ministry-not music. I think sometimes we have to be careful especially if we are surrounded by ministers in our lives because it may seem like we are following the crowd instead of God. I sing but I am not sure that I am doing what I was called to do. So, I dunno if God was calling me to music or the other kind but I know He wanted me to go into ministry. Does music count?
Many are behind pulpits who don't belong there. Hence. So many lost confused and not knowing what to believe. With so called pastors preaching different messages tells it all. It isn't God. Not any are called to help. All called to preach. This guy is confused. If you're called, YOU KNOW IT. You don't need anyone to tell you
Also I’ve been called quite a few times and I didn’t let it stick I have been dreaming about bible verses about prayer etc..Also I feel as I have been called bc I have lost a lot of people very close to me and it’s been upsetting to me because I’m not exactly sure where there heart is every time I go to church I hear about tithing and giving that’s all you really hear from the pastors around here it’s every single time they bring it up 5 to 10 times in a sermon I mean yes I understand giving but it makes people feel like if they can’t give then they shouldn’t be there

I feel called but I get shut down because of my past from my early 20s. I get pastors all the time telling me no church will help or bring me into any Church leadership. So if can only become a Pastor by what you are saying. Then does that mean I should stop trying to be a Pastor? I started thinking about starting a small Church because I feel a lot of Churches are being Judgmental and not expressing Mercy and Love of God.
I am in high school and I was tolled by god that I would do Ministy writing and art work but he said I had good skill in writing and I need to work on it. I am at school my school is very carer oriented and I am unsure of what I do is noised by others to answer question 2 my art talent is confirmed but my writing has not as much yet. I was tolled in 7th grade at age 12 that when I just started helping kids in the class room understand god and Jesus. I wanted to know what a answer would look like from god because I been asked questions I am still unsure of but I know God and Jesus knows what is to become.
Hi good job. Keep reading and studying the word of God (Bible/kjv). That's how you really know him because the word of god is alive. Plus its a requirement and you have to be ready to awser all when questions arrive. Keep Serving Jesus and don't worry about it. Jesus will do the work for you and give you the skill you need that works best for you. He know the numbers of hair on your head:) God Bless you.

Here's how you KNOW. FIRST get truly saved 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Ephesians 1:13 Then you are CALLED to be a 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 minister and ambassador. We are to Ephesians 3:9 and see 1 Timothy 2:4 accomplished! EASY isn't it!! NO hocus pocus NO religion just simple Bible TRUTH!

No one can ever teach unless he has ever been able to be taught by another person. people say the holy spirit will teach them but are you sure most people are really waiting? then it is better to be connected to a ministry that the holy spirit is working with then you learn through them. no one may be the only a few but no one get saved only by the holy spirit yet no one can get saved without the holy spirit. why because man is rebellious. all the time God is talking to people but no one really seems to care........even some who say they will wait for the holy spirit to teach they just don't want submission and neither can they submit to the holy spirit.
"Your parents"? Are you aware that some of us didn't grow up in the faith/ a church but are born again Christians? My parents sent me to a psychiatric ward when I first came to the Lord. Would take that into account in your counsel. Whether they are of the faith or unbelievers. (If they are unbelievers, then don't bother asking them for their opinion/ confirmation and be wise. "The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned" 1 Corinthians 2:14
you do not need a calling but, as long as you're ministering right then, your efforts are approved. Joel Osteen was given the assignment by his father.
You need to have a call to be a pastor!! Lots of people want to be pastors and open their own church but they fail because they are not called to pastor and God is not in it!! And doesn't approve!! So we have to be called
@Asaph Vapor idk if Joel is a going to hell idk I'm not God but I dislike prosperity gospel preachers like creflo dollar, what a disgrace and Kenneth Copeland said to his followers that God wants him to have another jet to travel and preach the gospel Because he doesn't want to fly on a public plane because he said there are to many demons
@Asaph Vapor did he?? Catholics are going to be in the kingdom of God too if they believe and Do God's will!! Remember Jesus said not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom only those who believe and do the will of God
@Asaph Vapor idk if most are, I'm not Catholic, but I personally believe God is against denominations like Baptist or methadist or Pentecostal or Lutheran etc... Jesus didn't intend for His Church to be split up into sects
