Join me in camp as I demonstrate the simple time-tested method of washing clothes by hand, bucket laundry, in Oregon in January 2023.
I've been washing my own clothes for years, save the rare occasion I have access to laundry facilities. While I used to have a clothes wringer, this method is the same as always, even using the same bucket and plunger for years now.
Be sure to use biodegradable soap, always discard your used water in a place where it won't bother the environment or other people, and make sure you have a way to dry out your clothes otherwise they will become mildewed.
