If you barely use credit cards and write checks. You can also balance better that way. The Extra fees coming from debit usage and credit cards add up at the end of the year to a pretty fee. So, it's not nice to keep thinking credit cards or better or debit cards. Never have a need for money. Never want to much of what you can't afford and don't eat it all up in one week. Grow your money and get ahead and stay ahead only replace what you spend.

What are the protocols of communication agreed to and is it internationally agreed to ( In Card present payment ) or is it specific to Banks having tie up with Visa for example ?
You mentioned gateway inclusion in case of card not present transactions but I am not sure whether gateway is not involved in Card present scenario..can you clarify
He said that the gateway is required as the network is already designed to be secure and robust for chip and pin transactions. The gateway is only needed for the CNP transactions.

Mobile payment is the same as card payment. You're using your phone instead of a card to make payment. The transaction process varies depending on what kind of companies is doing the job. Visa and Mastercard does as demonstrated in the video. Others like Alipay cut banks off altogether, and make the transaction being only between the buyer and the merchant.
