I'd just take Edey at 9 if DC is gone. There's just not much difference in the two for me. The Grizzlies just need a giant to play 20 or so minutes a game, rebound, and be big. Otherwise, anyone under 6'11 is a no-go for me, regardless of skillset.

Knecht , Shannon jr & ware are my favorites in the draft if Memphis can get 1 of them I would be happy

You guys are so on point. Again Vince, Kennard and Bane are the only 3 we had that shot 3s at the league avg or more. All other Grizzlies were below. Brown for Boston was the only player below league average. So either the team has to shoot better from 3 or take less 3s if we are not hitting. We don’t like to see players crying over foul calls but at times if you don’t say anything the refs screw you over. Santi is always getting clearly fouled and the refs don’t call it. It’s a delicate balance of playing thru and saying something for those obvious missed or incorrect calls. Glad it was mentioned about Kennard struggles with getting shots at times

Williams and Smart reuniting as teammates again on the Grizzlies would be a boost to team. Both former celtics.

I think you over rate clingon. Edey smoked him in college and he will smoke him in the pros. He has only played since jr in high school and has a determined attitude to improve and he has every year. You know he out performed clingon in the combine but keep acting like he’s slow and can’t shoot. He can win games on free throws alone. People act like other players don’t get scored on. I completely disagree on copying Boston because we can not beat them at their game. Be a grizzly

Everyday yall part the SAME THING. Do yall realize that Edey was ALL of Purdue's offense and the only way they could possibly win the game by forcefeeding him the ball? Do you realize the NBA is not a "backdown" league and Zach Edey WILL NOT get that amout of shots up? Jeez

And yes Edey dominated Clingan. Clingan is one dimensional. As much as Edey would dominate most centers on offense, most other centers are faster quicker and/or more offensively skilled and would torch him on defense. Edey will be a good rotation player and role player. He will NEVER start or play heavy minutes due to his size, lack of mobility and shooting. Definitely not worth the #9 pick
