The comments here are just showcasing how people judge something before they try it. I used to be a 100% raw stiff denim head, but as I got older and had to go from being active one second to relaxing another, stretch denim really showed its worth. Kato jeans are actually really high quality and the price is great. Also my 3 year old pair’s pocket bags are still intact unlike my Iron Hearts.

There is any other to get killer fades on your jeans that doesn't involve rubbing sand paper, lasers, rocks or pouring chemicals all over your denim... its called.. WEARING THEM.

I get that some people may appreciate the look and feel of prefaded jeans but all those extra resources, chemicals and the power required to get the denim to that state…

Fast fashion jeans are terrible for the environment and workers. If people like them cool, but all those chemicals and all the water used isn't a good thing for the area or the handlers. It's no different than how the old leather mills messed up a lot of cities and made workers ill with the chemical tanning and industrial chemicals.

yeah it's worth noting that they're the only guys that do four way stretch jeans that are also selvedge, so they do feel different to other stretch selvedge. same issues with breathability and stuff that you get with stretch but i would say they're more comfy than most stretch
