I have ADHD and people with ADHD do this think called hyper focusing which is when you block everything out and tunnel vision everything and put all your energy into it. It is a blessing and a curse. If you dont manage it properly you just have your brain all over the place. When i rhyme and produce im on point and laser focused, so HyperFocuz. Also i unironically made it look like a bad gamer tag cause i thought it was funny. On tracks i tag as Focus. But i can get hype too. It took me years to get to the point where i had a name. It was a pivotal moment.
My producer name is ODog. My first name is Owen and it’s kinda a classic to put your first name initial + dog. Short n sweet, and to the point. A no brainer. 👍
My given name is Gina, but my production pseudonym "Simone Phoenix" is a combination of my favorite old legend, that of the Phoenix, who self-immolates every 500 years & RISES from the ashes, then a deep admiration for the late musician/singer/activist Nina Simone.
"Toby" is my English name, and Hsu is my family name. I put them together, and it sounds like "Toby sh". After modify, I got my artist name, "TOBIE$H".
My real name is a part of my nickname from my childhood and I figured I'm unique because of it now looks like copycats came but I'm the only og 💪💜💯👑 My tag is original and that is my style, being myself and staying true to me 💪🐐
When I wanted to come up with an artist name, I wanted it to be a fresh page, a word with no initial meaning. Because in the end, I was the one who will give this word a meaning.
I was (1994) in the german Bundeswehr (Army) and I broke my ancle, so for the rest of my duty, I had to chill and walk instead of running and marching.
Hey man :) I’ve watched a few of your videos, haven’t gone too far into the whole production/beat making thing so far. But I’ve noticed you often say that Ableton is better than FL if you’re wanting to create hip hop beats. I was just wondering if you had any RU-vid courses/playlists dedicated to Ableton? If not, could you recommend any? Thanks 🤙😁
My name is Siroosh and I thought it was unique enough to be my music artist name but is "SIROOSH" a good name or should I change into something easier to pronounce?
The way I came up with Creative_Soul was listening to a phenomenal house music producer called The Soul Creative so I unconsciously switched the order and removed "The" which I ended up using for my creative arts. At first, I simplified it as C_$ initially. The Recolo one was intensively researched and one which was rewarding because my music was maturing and I was doing bootlegs and I did not want to use Creative_Soul tag because it felt too easy so I was watching an interview from a RU-vid channel called Recolo and I actually researched and it means "Cultivate" which was a perfect fit and I ran with it. Now I have two music aliases
