I work at Uptown Wal-Mart here in Victoria B.C.Canada and love when big orders come through my till I have so many people who will only come through my till makes me feel so good I have over thirty pins on my speed and kindness and I am very anal on how I pack. Felt's family I love ya'll so much! But can you please buy a filtered water pitcher and reusable water bottles? You will save yourself so much money in the long-run, save your back from lifting those and reduce the amount of plastic you use. Other than that I just think your family is perfect!!

@@Misslynndance ... I have food and food additive allergies .. I tried a Brita filter pitcure . It did not filter out sodium try-poly phosphates which I am very sensitive to .. it is added to purify water in water plants . I can only drink Deer Park water . I will get very sick if I have any other kind ..She may have a sensitivity to regular tap water which a filter may not help ..
I love the refreshing honesty about your video. It's good to know that people who seem to be a danger to someone else will challenge them. If there were more people like the store attendant, how many needless assaults and deaths could have been prevented.

Reminds me of when I went shopping for my 9 children when they were younger, used to fill up 4 shopping carts found out it was cheaper to go once a month for the bulk of the shopping but would have to go back for bread eggs and milk and for my picky eaters who didn't like what was cooked they would have a bowl of cereal most of my kids would not eat bologna or hot dogs which is what most my friends gave their children .My friends used to say that I ran my house like a drill Sargent guess they thought that because I would have my kids make their own beds they would not make them perfect but it made my life a little easier to just go back and straighten it up also with a large Family each one of my kids had a container with there name and that's what they kept there toys in as for laundry I would buy all the same color of socks and just put them in a basket. I Love big Families and would not have changed it for any thing, I would Love to adopt as many children as possible and there is no such thing as a perfect child we can only hope for the best.

Huge grocery bill even if two weeks. Whay does husband do for a living? You might save with a Sam's Club Membership. Where i live in SC the Wal-Mart & Sam's Club are in the same complex. I use Wal-Mart grocery delivery & love it but, my family not this size.

I would buy an occasional box of that sweet stuff for my son but it was never for breakfast. He got it as a treat (not a snack which I believe needs to have some nutritional value like string cheese, veggies, fruits, etc). Nothing wrong with a sweet treat within reason!
Quick Walmart shopping tip. Hook the seat belt from one cart around the front grill on the second cart. Both carts will follow you all over when you pull the one cart. Just be careful of turning corners too sharply.

I know I am five months late to comment but I just couldn’t pass on it. So much relates to my family, it wasn’t even funny.... and I totally support your ‘no kiss after what you consider nasty food‘ rule. I have the same with my husband and he loves to make a big show out of leaning in for one while he is still eating! Our grocery haul doesn’t look that healthy either. I am shopping for a family with three ASD kids with varying food issues and a husband who is mostly at work during meal times but ‘snacks’ a lot when home. Homeschooling, therapy etc etc and you don’t stand in the kitchen for too long just to prep one meal. I go shopping first thing in the morning but our shops are not 24/7 so I try to be back by 8:30 am latest. Once more I agree with your comment that if you make more and smaller trips to the shop you end up buying more than you need. Best example is my husband going for a loaf of bread or some milk and spending triple that on treats for the child he takes and those staying at home. What you said about Isabelle’s formula brought back something I read ages ago: allegedly a lot of people from Asian countries tend to be lactose intolerant because it is so uncommon to use fresh milk. It was probably written more politically correct than I could rephrasing it but they presumed it had something to do with the lack of built up tolerance through the generations.
This is the first video of yours that I have saw. I really enjoyed it. A lot of these videos the people are on keto diets, gluten free diets, vegans, low carb, no carb, etc. and that's not how my husband and I eat. (Our daughters are grown and we have 4 grandkids.) It was nice watching someone buy "normal food".
If I had to live in America, I’d probably be disorientated half of the time..... Imagine my South African self waking up at 05:00 am and it’s pitch black outside, I’d go right back to sleep ....and then there’s the driving part, one of my biggest fears is getting there and then causing a major accident because of the left hand drive....I’d have to Uber for a while.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is a lot of water bottles. Why don't you use some type of reusable bottle, or wash those out and fill with water.If your tap water is gross, your refrigerator should have filtered water, if not you can attach a PUR filter or similar to your water faucet. Save you money and keep plastic out of the landfill. Plus sometimes the water in bottles is just tap also.

You might think of installing a reverse osmosis water filtration system on your sink. You would save a bunch on using your own water with refillable bottles. Just a thought. You all work so hard to care for your family. I can't imagine the energy it takes!! Your family is truly blessed to have you. The world is better for you.
@@TheFeltsFamily If you don't want to do that, you can rent a water cooler and have 5 gallon jugs delivered - they pick up the empties and drop off full ones. Water always cold and fresh and available easily and zero plastic waste and way cheaper.
I’m right there with you on the processed foods or convenience foods. I work evenings and it’s how I have to do things. Let people judge and say things but if people weren’t buying this stuff it wouldn’t be readily available. Love your channel.

So I just had my 3rd in October. Help her stock up on bibs and burp cloths. Mine is a very bad spitter. I go through so many a day. Try to get ones that are waterproof.
She should order most basic items online and either pick up or have it delivered...that would save a lot of time. Then she can make a quick run for her meats, pastries, ice cream etc. I order this way once a month from Walmart and we pick up cause they don't deliver on my area and it is very easy. You can save your repeat purchases as favorites and it is so simple when reordering. Try it you'll like it!
However you decided to feed your family s your choice. I get it, busy family life, not to mention church, social, family events. Relax, you are awesome. Your videos encourage me.

My hubby likes those stinky Vienna sausages too. He’s 65! So I have no clue where it comes from. I think they are gross! AND,,,,we, like yall (I’m from Texas) eats tons of processed foods. Yes we try to eat healthy when we can,,but it doesn’t always happen.
We do have SAMS CLUB in our town and I used to shop there but it became too much of a hassle to go to two different stores. Plus, way too easy to blow the budget at that awesome wholesale store! Ha!

I can feed my family of 6 adults on $150 a week with almost no processed foods. I cook everything from scratch. I used to eat some processed foods and then being alot older got so many allergies. I made alot of soups: minestrone, italian wedding soup, carrot soup, chichen soups...etc. Soups go a long way and so many variations. My family love soup. Since I changed my diet I havn't gotten a cold, flu etc.. for 8 years.

Have you considered buying the kids reusable water bottles? No judgement. I fully believe empowered women empower women and the last things moms need is more judgement - we all think we are failing. I just think we as a society have to do better or the environment - even we buy one case of water that lasts us the whole year for emergency situations. They have these Brita water bottles that filter the tap water that you put in. My kids decorate theirs (each have 2-3 and they use one for 5 days - unless sickness or it gets dirty). My kids also love the mugs that are like Yeti ones at Target and we have the metal straws that they keep in my purse and their book bags. Easy to clean AND cuts down on the 10-20 straws each American uses every week. Our kids worry so much about the climate and how it will effect them in the future. They helped me get on a better path, and while we are far from perfect, I just feel the need to do my part and show people how easy (and how much cheaper) it can be to implement these little changes. Gahhhhh my husband is the same about Vienna sausages he eats them w mustard and he does the same thing tries to kiss me, ewwwww it grosses me out beyond. I shop there too so much cheaper plus I can buy everything in one place. I appreciate the “real” grocery haul I can’t stand all the fads.
My 2 year old has an oral aversion and he prefers soy milk and fruit baby food and some crunchy foods...and my 4 year old with autism eats a handful of foods plus soy milk so I feel for you on the food aversion stuff👍🏻
1. Throw out all the sugar, unhealthy foods. 2. Add in frozen veggies and fresh veggies. 3. Canned veggies and meats are better for your preppers cupboard. 4. Rice at costco is cheap and worth it. Great for prepping too! 5. Add ranch to his veggies to get him to eat real veggies that didn't come from a can. 6. Get a water purification system and get rid of the water bottles. Get the reusable bottles and clean them every night instead. Healthier for the environment and cheaper for you. 7. Costco would be cheaper in the long run. You can get big bags of veggies cheaper than the canned stuff at Walmart. Aldi's is also very cheap and does not have a fee. It is a toss up which is cheaper for eggs - Aldi's or Walmart. Hashbrowns preformed is cheaper at Walmart though (as of this writing) and goes further then shredded potato. 8. Blessings!
@Susie X When you are on a tight income, sugar is the last thing you need. I had a nephew who ate healthy and wanted healthy foods until someone introduced him to sugar. He then went through a period of time where he refused to eat veggies of any kind whatsoever. If more kids were banned from sugar from the get go, we'd have a much healthier population that loved vegetables. Sugar changes our taste buds and makes us not appreciate vegetables as much. In some cases, it makes the person rejec them out right.
@Susie X Addicted to sugar? Must have it at least once in a while? Daily Even? Does the thought of never ever having sugar make you think I'm a narcist? Seriously? Did you flunk Psychology? I do agree that children do need to learn moderation and self control, but I can teach that with any dish they absolutely love! I don't need sugar and unhealthy foods to teach that. I also know many children who simply can't stand vegetables after they tasted sugar. I also know adults who hated vegetables, gave up sugar and then started being able to tolerate the taste of vegetables. Connection? In some people, sugar does change their taste buds to dislike vegetables. Sure, this isn't true for everyone. Just because you need to have sugar or whatever unhealthy item you crave and can not live without, does not mean we all have to.

The way Americans just put everything into a million plastic bags literally kills me every time...like WHY. Here in Germany, we bring our own bags, and if it's more, the stuff goes back into the cart and we take it to the car, put everything in and then take the cart back. Sorry, that's off topic but seriously...what do you do with all these bags at home?! Not to mention the waste.
All the big grocery stores especially Walmart offer plastic bag recycling You can dump all your used shopping bags into the designated bins and they recycle them for you Americans are not clueless 🙄 We know about recycling believe it or not Most everyone I know saves all the plastic bags for bathroom trash or re using in other ways I don’t know anyone who just throws them away... you can always find a way to reuse them
Lol I go through half the store check out, load it in the car, then go back in and do the other half of the store. So I don't have to push around 2 carts:D
