I hear what poet is saying on youth provision for sure but we need to be honest about our culture. This generation of young people are unruly, propped by social media, drill music contributes because it incites a get back culture because everything is televised to the world. They don’t respect the elders within their community in the same way we did in our generation that level of respect was so crucial in forming a foundation of how to conduct yourself, without that they feel untouchable. That’s the truth if we are honest and don’t make excuses for them, this generation is unprecedented and it’s not their fault… things would be different without social media
Instead of or in addition to poets howlers there should be a poets hero’s highlighting the individuals that deserve a shout out and the behaviour we should condone🎉🎉

Nobody knows except him but we can all say that their is evidence that doesn’t look great in his first trial but the negligence of the Jamaican court system during his trial caused this. As a Jamaican myself I am happy he is out but yk I still wonder if he did or didn’t.

There’s actual data to support to that. The Godfather, Good fellas, Casino, Scarface etc all critically acclaimed movies. Two British guys saying Jamaicans love badness can hardly considered concrete evidence. That’s anecdotal and doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. You’re trying to be smarter than your brain will allow.
