An introspective talk into the hidden lives of female serial killers throughout history. This talk will look into the politics of various historical periods and how women have involved themselves in crime as a reaction to societal norms. Moreover this talk will look into how cultural structures have changed the role of women in this sphere and argue if these women's actions could be considered as justified and purely reactionary.
Nina Garner is a student at Francis Holland, studying Politics, Psychology and Theology and Philosophy. Nina is an active member of the student body and has particular love for volunteering with children. Nina enjoys tennis and running in her spare time. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
