How Do You Break a 3 Point Lift Arm??? 

Everything is so tightly fitting that it doesn’t leave much room to work in there.

Knipex pliers are THEE best in my opinion. I own every electrical tool they make, water pump pliers from 4" up to 22" and their snap ring pliers. Had one failure on a set of crimpers and they were replaced under warranty. I'm an industrial maintenance technician and my tools feed my family. They're not cheap.....but nothing good ever seems to be. Took delivery of my 1st tractor 2 days ago. 2023 BX23s and have been binge watching ur videos between service calls. Looking forward to Saturday, cant wait to try it out.

Snap rings sole purpose in life is to double amount of time to do a repair! Good fix. Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!

I broke the same piece on my BX25 and Davis Equipment came through for me. I rewatched the intro 3 times thinking, “ There’s no way that’s Davis, but it looks just like it!” Then you said it! Love the channel and content!

Best set of snap ring pliers I've found is Irwin. They have the interchangeable pins, but the whole end of it swaps out. Pretty solid construction, I've never had any issues. with them.

If I learned anything from you and Brian from Piney Grove, is that repair in all those toys, better you do your best for them to be done by you. It adds up quickly.

Your best bet for snap ring pliers is to get a complete set with fixed tips. I bought a Snap On set more than 20 years ago and they still work trouble free to this day.

I think we all have a love/hate relationship with anti-seize.😂

Nice repair! Instead of one pair with removable tips, I got a 4 pack of snap ring pliers from Lowes, Craftsman brand. Two inner pliers and two outer ring pliers. They've been solid!

a set of icons from harbor freight is a strong looking set in stead of changing the pins there's a deferent pair of pliers for what you need

Thank you for this video Lucas. I have wondered if the bouncing of the mower deck as I am running around the yard on my 2380 could have any negative effects. Ours may be the updated version as we bought it in 22 but I'll have to check it out. Thanks for breaking yours so I hopefully don't break mine! 😅👍

I ended up trading in my trusty BX for a new B-2601. It’s a bigger more robust unit which should alleviate these issues. Loving it so far!

i tore up a 3 pt quick hitch with my offset rear blade. I bent the whole top link hook due partially to bushing issues. But I also had it in a major bind digging trenches in hard ground with the rear blade offset fully.

We use proto snap ring pliers here at work and not the ones with the removable tips, They always break.

BIG QUESTION: Would 'parking' the MMM at the "TOP" dial setting have protected/ avoided, the bouncing stresses on that 3p lift arm?

Easy enough to fix for ya. If u want a really good pare of snap-ring tool is snap on or Mac tools yes there are a lot of $$ but built to last and will not break on u i hate snap ring tools always brake them till i got snap on ones
