How do you demo concrete? 

Dealing with concrete demo can be a huge pain, until you figure out how to efficiently cut and break it. Learning the balance of your time between saw cutting and hammer/chiselling or jackhammering will depend on the density of the concrete. For slabs often using a large sledge and wedging underneath it with smaller pieces will produce larger liftable chunks and reduce cleanup time, instead of using a jackhammer to reduce it to smaller pieces. For trimming down footings for doorways like on this Integral Design Build project, a 3-4” spacing of cuts to max depth ended up yielding perfect chunks of material to club out with little secondary trimming after.
