I think this may have been its actual music video, looks like it could be, for some reason in b&w here (maybe the only version that survives) with later added lyrics.
Maggie's voice is exceptional, she can go from sounding like a little girl to an opera singer! Wow! I just loved these two. So glad we are able to see video footage of them from years past.
I had forgotten about this song until I recently heard it remade in spanish in Banda style and thats what reminded me of this song🎵 in english. Now I have it etched in my mind and sing Na Na Na Na Na Na Na all the time, Lol. 70s music is definately the best ever! Great songs like this one is what makes that era music the BEST !!!
MUSIC BEING FUN??? Who ever heard of such a concept??? Hats off to this Dutch Duo who had this only US hit reaching Top 5 Summer 1972! What an EXCELLENT year for music! LONG LIVE 1972!!!!
Yes, most exactly!! Remember this song quite well that early summer!! Great year for music then!! Had no idea the name if these folks, let alone being Dutch! She's extremely hot!! I'd pyle!!
1972 my brother bought that record while abroad with the Royal Navy he loved it and tonight's was the first time on You-Tube that I had heard it since the early 70s, my Brother Dougie passed away last night RIP Big Brother love you to the moon and back
Nothing and I do mean absolutely nothing or no other music from any era can even be compared to the total brilliance and unadulterated beauty, that the 70's were, are presently and will always be!
The "nightmare" has a name, Zionism/Communism, they hate Christianity and because we let them, they are destroying our culture, and it will get much worse.
Wow! talk about a cool blast from the past. Is there a cooler duet in existence? Maybe. But both of these singers have absolutely beautiful voices! I simply do not have the words to describe just how good and fun... even moving, this song is.
I was about six years old, and I heard my mother humming this song, it was one of the hits at the time. Amazing, really good! Greetings from Portugal!🎈🎼💙💛
I heard this song today fir the first time in years and had to come look it up. Brought back so many great memories of the 70's. She has a strong voice in one part of the song, that I wish would be shown off more. And, ya gotta love his voice!!
Finally...I had been humming this tune for years, but had no idea about the words...just got lucky on a "70's Greatest' and there it was...so here I am. This is one cool tune! And on the 8th day, God created RU-vid.
I may not have been been around the 70s, or even the 80s. But my dad gave me a couple CDs when I was a kid full of 70s music which I still listen to. And I will forever be thankful to my father for having me listen to these tunes at such a young age
It took me months to remember this song, all that I remember was the na na na na, the more that I remember came the "how do you do" and there is was, the song of my youth. I was in Ecuador and knew no English but loved to listen this song. Now I can read and understand the meaning of this song, still beautiful to my soul. Thanks you for uploading musical memories from my past.
Wow beautiful song that brings back good memories! I remember I used to sing along every time it was playing back then and I was a teenager living in South Africa. This evening 14/9/2021 it came flooding back in my mind after all these years in a symbolic way and I just had to look it up on RU-vid! It sure is a confirmation of something dear to my heart! Thanks for the upload 👏🏽
During all the lies and BS going on during this Plandemic, I listen to this song often. I miss the light hearted vibe of the 70's. A time when people weren't God hating jerks.
this song, not the video, is what the light inside us all sounds like, it needs to be released again.... , simple song, happy, smiling, love, i was only 7 but this has been my life's inner music the whole way, and this is the type of inner child that's missing today by many, except after they meet me, then they are all jumping and dancing and rejoicing that they met me,,,,,,,, love all this way..... sing it in chorus at ball games instead of the war song.... evolve w love......

No la escuchaba hace mucho y hace vibrar mi corazón...con mucha emoción..Encantadora...Gracias..!!
I listened this song for the firs time 25 years ago when I didn't know what they were singing and all I understood was HOW DO YOU DO and now I'm so happy to find this video again . Nice song .
I first heard this song at Lincoln University in PA in 1972. After all these years, it is still a GREAT song. Love the original wild and very funny video. Stanley A. George III Bolans, Antigua
I also recently discovered this duo. Exceptional with simple yet very effecrive and favourable way of doing the song lot of positive energy from them both. Great job Maggie and Willem
I remember BLASTING this song with my buddy Karl on the stereo when no one was home back when I was like 13!!! My mother would come home from the Beauty Parlor and scream "SHUT THAT DAMN THING OFF AND GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!" and her Bee-Hive Hair Doo would collapse and we'd run for our lives laughing our asses off!!! GREAT song and GOOD TIMES!!!
I think a lot of us teens got caught blasting their parents console stereos , my problem was both parents work and my mom would leave work and I never knew she was even pulling in the driveway...
dat waren nog eens tijden en miss het heel veel..trots om een nederlander (hollander) te zijn those were the days and misses it alot..proud to be dutch (cause yes they are dutch !!)
Lovely song ! This song was very popular when I was about 14 - 15. I just observed that the lady was very well dressed. She didn't have to open her chest , squeezing her buns or even keep dancing sexually but she could be very famous. The world is changing, unfortunately, something are changing in a negative way.
The world *is* a change. And even if some, rare changes are good, the most are just bad. I hope there will be more "kids" like me (im 14 years old) who know the good sites of the old music.
leon struckmeier if your 14 and you like Mouth and MacNeal, then you are a rare one. I was 6 years old when this song came out and I have not stopped loving this song as well as all the other songs from the 1970's.
Oscar Field yes somethings are changing. things will always change. with every advantage there's a disadvantage and vise versa. things may look gloomy for the future now, but the only two things you can do is try to make an impact to change it to the better, or hope that in the future the positives will out weigh the negatives. I am also a teen by the way. I'm 16. :)
Thanks for posting . I really liked how they interacted with each other . This is my favorite song that they sing . He seemed like one of those guys that could make everyone laugh , and he also had a great voice . She is also a great singer and a major hottie .
@@dina-ly8nf Well it had to do more with difference in age. Macneal (the woman) told in an interview she never hated him but they had 2 total different lifestyles.
