I was leaving one my customer’s stores and another truck came in and was coming in the wrong way (he went past 2 do not enter signs)I stopped him and told this gentlemen who barely spoke English that he was going the wrong way and he wouldn’t make it past the yellow pole around the corner. He said, “oh ok..thank you”. He then continued on in the way he was going and proceeded to get his trailer stuck on top of the yellow pole. I didn’t see it happen, but I heard it. I walked around the building to where he was and he had ripped 5 crossmembers out from under his trailer. He came up to me and I said “I told you not to go this way..what happened?” He then said something in Spanish. What amazes me about them yellow poles is they’re just the right height to get under the trailer and not get out from under it.

@kyleburns5772 if they can't speak English, then why does this driver have a CDL in his possession?? He probably went through the simulator course in Spanish online, passed everything minus CDL schooling in the truck, got the license printed out and sent him on down the road driving...

@@DeborahMaidon that’s the million dollar question. Last year at one of the shopping centers I go to. I approached a truck that just rolled in to tell the other driver I only had 3 pallets and would be outta there in about 10 minutes top. He held a piece of paper up that said “Sorry. I don’t speak English.” He made gestures with his hands and spoke Spanish in an effort to communicate with me. I then said to him “How the fuck are you able to read the signs going down the road? Like the ones they say things like, “low clearance?” He then blankly started at me. He had no idea what I said. This is what we’re sharing the roads with now.

I'd vote for anyone that takes 70% of the government out of a job. Their trickle down economics, *fani willis spending sprees; isn't cutting it.... Now they're going to start back to the ole rule of law, 37 in a 35 tickets; so everyone has to go to court and pay their court cost. Instead of harassing actual crooks and thieves, way too risky to take on crime. Bet anything the bridge in MD is going to be a toll bridge, we pay for. Much like the lottery the state won't get any of the tolls either. While biden and company pocket the insurance money... Toll the people after we pay for the bridge.

I'm the trucker who coined the word "Supertrucker" in the Summer of 1991. Supertrucker doesn't exist anymore. Those were the days of paper logs and 15 non-consecutive hour rule. You worked the log book to your advantage. I'll vote for ya, Ike. Keep in mind, 18 wheelers are NOT 4x4s. You screw up the company's equipment....YOU'RE FIRED! Nobody is gonna hire you for a very long time.

I'm retiring from OTR trucking in August 2025 permanently. I don't hate my job. It's FMCSA government controlled. Instead putting a time clock on the dashboard, the FMCSA created the E-logs and 14 consecutive hour rule. OTR trucking is a great job. But I heard all my life, once the government takes control of a industry, there goes the freedom. If OTR trucking requires 2 years of training (Real Training) and certification (the same equivalent to an Associate's degree, a.k.a Community College) then the trucking industry would have less and less bonehead truckers. Ike would never be able to create Bonehead Truckers RU-vid Channel. That's why I don't recommend OTR trucking to anyone. And working up to 70hrs a week is the same equivalent to a full time and part time jobs combined together.

I am from WA area, the Tacoma's Loves has security guards not cops. If you park there beware lots of thieves in the area. That Loves did improve the parking area and has spots for tractors only. But they just recently shrunk the tractor only area.

Mandate a minimum of 35 dollars an hour for all hours on duty, 10 hours on and 14 off for all LTL operations no exceptions. After 10 hours is OT if you need to get back to the terminal and were held up due to traffic, accidents or at the shipper and a break is optional or can stay as is where you are just stopped for 30 minutes.

I have drawn the conclusion that some people really shouldn't drive anything. I work in a manufacturing plant where we build construction equipment. I wish I had all the bloopers on video I have witnessed there in 27 years. I watched a semi truck back right into a 14,000 pound skid steer and push it over twenty feet sideways. Two non english speaking Ukrainians came out of that truck and I never was able to determine which one of them was the driver. I watched one of our drivers drive a tractor right into the side of a loading ramp blowing the tire and mutilating the rim. He got fired that day.

Drivers I’ve got a new way to address Boneheaded Truckers that Block Fuel Island. Commerce GA Loves. The guy beside me got fuel and went straight inside. I did shout at him nicely to come back and pull forward before he goes inside. He of course had a couple choice words for me. I just laughed it off. When I went inside he was on his way back out and I said to him “ I apologize Sweetheart, I didn’t realize you had Boneheaded Trucker Privilege. You can imagine his replay. Ike you can use that on a T shirt. 😂😂😂😂

@@tomr3422 Trucking isn't a 9 to 5 job, it is a 24/7/365 job that requires drivers to work more than 8 hours a day. IF anyone takes more than 1, if not 2 showers a week, they are in the wrong line of work. Also, wearing a Wife Beater, shorts, and Flip Flops aren't allow at some shippers, they won't even allow you on the property.

Those carriers for Amazon will run over anything to get your wife's packages to them. I admire their dedication tho it's extremely dangerous.

i once saw a truck delivering to amazon, you know those ramps they have to go up backwords l? he slipped off fell to the side truck caught fire. the guy immediately goes up to security booth and ordered an uber to the nearest airport. was funny.

Amazon prime will let any reject pull their trailers. I’m surprised anyone gets their Amazon order with as many wrecks as these guys have on a regular basis.
