We need it to remember that God is good and loves us. He doesn't need it. What ever we will do God still loves us but he wants to have relationship with us. Praise is one of the ways. God is Spirit not human so he doesn't thinks like humans. Stay blessed!

Go to atheists youtube videos and leave your comments about how God is egoistic there. You must have pretty miserable life.
