Can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped and see the signs directly in their own face. Moreso, not caring about the children safety and well-being. Not even intervention will not be seen, because the mind is blinded and the heart is weak.

This is why you don't move in and go shacked up with anyone who is not your husband and or wife. Then to move in someone with your children and having that person gaslight you and play games with your mental, emotional and peace of mind. People its 2024, wise up ans vet vet vet who you entangled with and get tricked by the lust and calling it love.

Well as a friend I would not be worrying myself calling into a podcast about my friends situation if my friend is unclear about what she really wants. Don’t give yourself wrinkles worrying about someone else’s problems when they’re not worried about it.

If the caller's friend can't break her lease, moving might not be financially possible. If the person keeps having sympathy for the freeloader, she'll never get rid of him. There's no such thing as being manipulative... Someone wants to be manipulated.
