I worked at a company for 25 years. I was a faithful employee and worked the last 5 years without being absent. One day I just couldn't do it anymore. It led me to another job, where I was made fun of, but I kept on. I learned new skills and ended up in an office job. Did God lead me there. I think He did. I had an opportunity to witness to people that I didn't have before and I was happy. Thank you as always for your teachings.
Thanks Dane for sharing your experience with God and also the good advise on discerning the will of God. Like you, I have followed paths through different doors that opened for me with some doors closing, sometimes of my own choosing. God is always faithful and as you said, He works His will no matter what. It’s an amazing journey to be a Believer!
Great video, Dane. It makes so much sense hearing you share this, and I'm sure many people would be able to figure this out themselves, but living it always seems more difficult. We are always works in progress.
Thanks, Brian. You're so right - living it always seems more difficult. I think that's why we are supposed to be in community with one another. Sometimes we just can't see the way to go when it is right in front of us. But with others around us I think we can find truth!
