What he's saying is while there is division there is conflict... By accepting fear/phycological anguish there is no conflict.... because these arise from thought..! U can observe this without identifying with it...!! You are that...!! .... this what's ment by non dualism... stay present & observe... don't interlecturalise it ..!!! It will slowly desolve namista 🙏 peace...
I tend to NOT take action(s) because of fear of being wrong. So, I make sure that I don't even encounter fear. I feel like I have never allowed myself to observe fear.
Introspection is the right way to observe fear, because it is holistic observation. The understanding coming through introspection, will reveal that so long as we are,as a mind, obsessed with creating illusory images of duality(I and You), fear will always remain unaddressed and our bondage. When we understand that we,as a mind, are the creator of all images, and are foolishly seeking completion through our own creation, the momentum of creating images comes to an abrupt end. This is the right observation to bring an end to fear.
That’s the essence of Krishna Ji teaching… you don’t need to get rid of the fear! Once you see it as it is, it gets transformed. Thinking doesn’t solve any problem because thinking creates it.
There is this thing called survival. We and just about every other thing living have evolved based on survival. We are time. It is in us. The most basic microbe has a defense mechanism. K is talking about the fear of reprisal. Of failure. Of comparison. Hot buttons. Preset levels of anxiety ready to fire. Dependency on the other for psychological support. For continuity. We are constantly becoming. Competing.
After that , u need to do two things :- 1) understand the thought that led to that fear. 2) understand the consequences after the fear This is applicable for every emotion but u need to understand that fear is ur pastself which is knowledge stored up in the brain. Observer=Observed To understand what he or I say u need to apply this in ur own life example. That's it my friend u started to Observe.
Muchísimas gracias. Seguramente no hace falta mencionar nada, pero, (jaja) me imagino que alguna entre las implicaciones más importantes de ser ese miedo es que no cabe hacer nada nuevo (nunca), observar. ¿Qué opinas?
I think I got it. It's like this. When the observer, the observed and the act of observation all becomes one then who is left behind to think of fear and get afraid. Any how let me practice before making any further comments.
I think he is wrong, if you observe the fear ( as an object) then you are not the fear because you are not identifying or fusing your identity with an emotion. Swami Sarvapriyananda talks extensive about no identifying oneself with the observed things like body, emotions, thoughts and the like.
