How do you play Impending Doom this league in Crucible?

Just fyi @ ~5:50 when you're talking about the damage cap, that's wrong, as confirmed by GGG posts earlier on the FAQ. Damage over the cap does not help on ubers, as the reduction is calculated after the cap is applied. The cap is a hard cap, ubers or not. Doesn't really change much just wanted to mention it, since it might be worth to drop a bit of damage to gain some survivability.

@@kimano117 wrong. Getting 35mill dot dps is measurably different vs getting 119mill vs ubers.

@@gelu2953 this league impending doom had been bugged but should be fixed now. My issue had been that punishment was to low in level. With lower level, the AoE is to small.

Some build need that to get going tho. You just need to understand what builds need what budget to do what you want. This build is very cool though

One of the more enjoyable things with this is that most upgrades are sub 5 divines each, so you can do a lot of "smaller" upgrades. Personally I really don't like builds where you quickly get to a point where the next upgrade is 20+ divs. I league started this and I enjoyed it immensely!

Half the people are saying 10-30 divines and then theres people like you that say its no problem and just league start it. I dont get it

@Asmitha90 the build is poison but according to pob skill effect duration doesn't affect your poisons

i mean, for map clear it doesn't make any difference, you're geting charges on kill anyway, and normal map bosses don't live long enough for it to matter

It is really strong. But to take it you need to give up other nodes. Poison spread when you have a flask up, Automatic Whither or a massive 30% flask effect. Playing in soft core you normally give up tank to make a build kill and clear faster. You could get it later with forbidden jewels, but at that point tailwind sounds juicy to go even faster.

his staff has EB on the tree, you'll have to take it on tree if you don't roll it in the crucible tree

Reduced mana cost craft on flask not es leech. EB is a holdover, the goal is 0 mana cost on everything

Ok so I missed the extra 8% crafted on the helm. With enough flask effect, that should just scrape into 100 I think.

i don't have the inc duration thing and with less than 200es i can already cast it normaly try de-leveling the blessing gem, every level adds a bunch of flat mana cost to the aura

@@Francorocco well yeh with Eldritch battery it's fine, but I'm pretty sure steel specced out of EB and was still casting it, but it costs over 200 mana so I don't get it. The 20% from alt quality gem will only drop it by about 50? I'm guessing. I must be missing something. (Only have 2/3 neg mana cost crafts, but that still won't do much right?) So with Eldritch battery it's fine. Just don't understand how to spec out of Eldritch battery and still cast it. Struggling to get money this league, slowly improving.

@@whopacha to spec out i think you need the legion jewel with the mana cost thign, like he did on previous league

@@Francorocco I actually bought the anomalous inc duration today, it does help way more than I thought. I think with a third -7 to mana cost it will be free, just haven't crafted a nice amulet yet

Ok i am not an expert in crafting but this is what i did in craft of exile to try this, 1. Get fractured Chaos base (if you plan on getting chaos res in other place you can choose other useful fractured mod of your liking) 2. Use Veiled Chaos Orb until you Unveil Ailment Duration, you have to unveil UNTIL you get one of two things: 1) you get Ailment with an open suffix, 2) you get Ailment with a good res AND an open preffix a) if you get one this is kinda expensive, you craft "Prefixes Cannot Be Changed" then harvest reforge lightning, cold or fire (depending which res you need ) and you pray you dont get your prefixes full, if you have an open prefix you craft "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" and then harvest reforge Life and hope for a good life roll and an open prefix to craft phys as fire, i think this is the most expensive option because just crafting two times the "cannot be changed" mods you need 4 divs plus the Veiled Chaos Orbs. b) if you get option two, you just need to craft "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" harvest reforge life, get a good life roll and an open prefix and craft phys as fire and you are done. I think this is the cheapest you may need to use more veiled orbs but you only need 2 divs for the cannot be changed craaft As i said i am not the mos knowledgeable crafter but i'll sugest you try this first in craft of exile before you try in game, and if someone with more experince knows a way to craft this helm more easily i will appriciate the help

taste of hate is the cold flask

Isn't the only mod that works for this build the support gems mod? I have an amulet with +1 chaos skill gems and it's worthless because it doesn't affect impending doom as it is not considered a skill. Unless theres a multi level + all skill gem mod, but I thought that only was +1 all gems

I did manage to finish the staff in another 15 divs, an expensive mistake for sure but I expected that mistake to cost me even more :P

Socket spell-cascade, enfeeble and temp-chains in the other sockets; order is not important.

100% uptime progenesis with massive flask effect makes the last bits very survivable. Realistically you need a whole lot less -toad

15% taste of hate turns to 25%+ with enough flask effect. Helmet can be up to 18% with delve mod and implicit, and 14% for cheap with craft and low implicit.

That weapon is insanely priced now
