After 4 years of having my first Spyrectomy in Feb 2020, I have NEVER received a FEV1 so I haven’t a clue what my lung function is?! My Dr up to 2020 soon bolted when COVID came. The Dr I have now really doesn’t want to know! I did slightly bully her for me to have Pulmonary Rehab and she finally did! The best thing she did for sure, it’s amazing and teaches you so much in the way of of exercises AND everything about COPD, yet nobody had before apart from what I found here on RU-vid! BTW, I live in the UK where it’s virtually impossible to get to a Dr, apart from phone calls, fat lot of good when you need your chest tested! Even the Asthma and COPD check ups are done via phone calls! With these videos, you always look over to your right for those who ask questions, do you never look over at the comments…or do you see the elsewhere?!
I have severe emphysema and get extremely short of breath I’m finding it extremely difficult to strengthen my lungs because just walking my my breathing worse How can I strengthen my lungs and excersise while I’m so breathless
Please tell me how to strengthen my lungs when I’m so breathless I have severe emphysema and also kyphosis I have osteoporosis and I recently had two sever wedge fracture reason for developing kyphosis I try to use Aerobika but I can’t blow in it very well My medication is Trimbow Ventolin nebulizer with salbutamol and saline I don’t feel my trimbow works as well anymore but doc won’t change it
Sorry Iv wrote twice already I’m not sure my message are coming through I should of mentioned I am also c02 retainer and last yr needed my gallbladder out but no one would touch it Does this mean I can’t ever have an operation My gp has advised ME TO take out DNR I am going to be assessed for pulmonary rehab but have to wait as the waiting list is so long
