I cut the ring with wire cutter and split it, as all other techniques failed. After 6 years, still I have the mark on my finger. I stopped wearing rings as it retains water depending on its inner design and causes finger skin to become turbid.
Vaseline works wonders. Also cold running water over the ring finger (swelling reduces with cold water) and gently twist/pull off. I've done both multiple times.
@@MegaPoliyo That's in principle true, but in my experience the reducing of the swelling of the finger more than compensates for this small contraction of the metal.
@@JestPath weight loss may not be easy for some people. Myself for example, if I don't vigorously work out, I don't lose weight. I don't have 6+ hours of my day to spend in the gym. Keep judging people for not being skinny and you might just end up in my shoes. 😘😘😘
🌸 tip check daily your ring can still budge, if it’s getting tight carefully take it off. a) keep it till you loose weight or b) get it resized to fit Don’t leave it in till your finger swells like that, it can turn blue & black 😱
Had a patient recently whose finger was so swollen the flesh of the finger was broken and covering a portion of the ring. In such a case cutting the ring is the only option. I wish institutions that are trusted to help these people would have BETTER tools for this situation. The hand cutters suck and they do not work at all for some rings. Sometimes we would like a tool to widen the gap made by the cut so that we can quickly remove the ring without making a second cut. I'm about to buy some tools myself because the institution doesn't care to do a better job, they would rather spend a bunch of money telling the public how great they are.
I tried this. I shredded the skin on my finger to the point of bleeding & extreme pain. And the ring is still very much on my finger. Maybe it works for some ppl, not for me. I will never try this again it made it so much worse. I've gotta find another solution or just bite the bullet & have it cut off. 😭
Had the same exact thing happen. Ended up having to cut the ring off, if you have hand held tin snips they work great and are only like $10 at Home Depot etc
@@riley3812 Still disgusting... It looks like someone shoved a hot dog thru a key ring. I found out that the Fire Department will cut it off for you (if they have time) so I don't have to wait in the emergency room.... That's what I plan on doing this weekend (too busy til then).... Hopefully I get around to it, this is far past annoying at this point! 😠
Try using windex on your finger to get your ring off . My aunt told me about it when my ring got stuck and my finger was swelling just spray it on and get it under the ring and wait a bit then try getting it off. I don’t know how it worked but it did for me. I just had some off brand blue windex so I don’t know if the type matters
I had experienced .my family members tried to get that ring and my uncle tried to cut the ring by using exo blade and it makes my hand wound also.First we go to hospital, they were helpless and then we immediately go to fire station at late night and some fire police uncles helped me to take the ring and they supported me.and they told that iam too brave . In 3 years i have never wear ring because i was scared . it reminds me the incident happened .
When I was sleeping, my finger got swollen and now my ring won’t get off. Even I have tried your method as well. What should I do now with midnight here in my country and I can’t even reach Dr
Nice Allahumma sholli wa sallim wa baarik ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa'ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin fil awwalin wal aakhirin wa fil mala'il a'laa ilaa Yaumiddin
This is what we do.... We just put handwash Or soap and lather it using water and thn slowly rotate the ring so that soapwater can penetrate to that skin portion of our finger .... Our finger becomes really slippery and the ring comes out easily
yeah... you could do this or... a simpler option would be ..... slowly start from the distal part of the finger and gently with 4 fingers light pressing down all 4 corners of the persons finger GENTLY MOTIVATE THE BLOOD TO MOVE TO THE PROXIMAL SIDE OF THE RING if you do this for long enough , the blood that is causing the speed hump will move to the other side of the ring and with lubricant or oil you will be able to remove it You can either do this or you can't if you can't................ CUT THE RING, don't even think about it , don't even worry about the money because your health is more important realistically you shouldn't be putting a ring on if this can occur so if you do and it gets stuck YOU NEED TO CUT IT .............IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT slip a piece of plastic between the ring and the finger get some tin snips of bolt cutters and cut the ring
Gold smiths have a special tool to cut rings. It is a sort of plier. One arm is a thin protecting blade that is stuck under the ring. The other arm has a tiny circular saw blade that is hand cranked to cut the ring. The cut is about 0,25 mm wide and say a golden ring, can be soldered again.
Inki ring already los hai, maine ye try kiya dhage ka but meri ungli mein blood zama ho gaya aur ungli kali ho gayi aur swaling aur jada bhad gayi, last mein nail cuttar se cut karke maine ring nikali, ye dhage ka experiment karne se pahale soch lijiyega, kyunki is dhage ke karne se meri ungli jada suj gayi thi
That’s what my nephew is choosing for his wedding ring. He’s a carpenter, and is worried about getting his finger caught, so after discussing it with his fiancée they decided that he would get a silicone ring and she would get the traditional gold one.
@@candie1230 I need my fingers as I do a job where I type for a living and my biggest fear is loosing one of my fingers. But I find that if I size the ring up by 1 size (Uk size from M - N) It is enough that I don't need to worry about it falling off and don't need to worry about it getting stuck as it comes off quickly in case of emergency.
So to do this basically the easiest way is try hard to make the diamond part face u and slowly pinch the swole part under the ring until u can pull off
I had to take my son to the hospital where they cut the ring off after icing his finger several times to reduce the swelling.Thank god his finger was ok but the ring was ruined.
Isn't it not nice to put a collor, of een ring of om iets in een kooi te zetten, ik zie graag wat ik lief vind vrij, in alle totalitijd Hoor ik mijn vogeltjes nog steeds fluiten , iedere morgen weer, en dat overal in de werel waar ik al ben geweest en waar ik nu ben, mocht het ook zo waar ik in de toekomst zal zijn....vrij vrij vijheid blijheid
I dunno, I’d just amputate since the ring finger really doesn’t serve any other purpose than a ring holder. Kinda like our appendix or tonsils or left nut.
