Hey Jersey, I upsell by marketing a premium package for my clients, both new and frequent. Window cleaning is my niche so my prices always include internal and external, plus tracks and screens. In my part of Australia, people rarely want external only. Also, as part of my education process, I always send an email prior to the quote arriving. The email educates the potential client about traditional and water fed cleaning via blogs on my website. Many clients have found that very instructional and often seals the deal. 🙂 Explaining these methods and services has been key to improving my conversion rate.
I'm adding on cobweb cleaning and i just kinda guessed at how much to charge. I'm starting at $3 a week for small storefronts. Probably will charge 4 or 5 a week for most locations. 8 to 10 if they're biweekly. That's $150 to $250 per location per year. I'm guessing i won't spend more than 2 or 3 hours a year in total cleaning the cobwebs. Just a little here and there as they pop up. Anyone have an opinion if i'm i too high or too low on price?
