Greetings, Yannie. I’m a 12-yr loc-growing Sistah that likes to wear it styled sometimes but for the most part, I prefer free-flowing locs. They’re almost touching my buttocks 🙂.

I have salt and pepper locks. More salt than pepper. Like to let my locs do what they do however, I don’t like them touching my neck or my face so I keep them in a headband during the summer and completely covered during the winter, I don’t re-twist Them, so they are very fuzzy.

My son wears a satin cap and the a tam over it. And in the warmer months, sometimes in a ponytail

I keep mines covered and leave it alone.

My salt and pepper nattys are lightly semi-freeform (LOVE my disrespectful roots!) and they touch my knees now (had them since 95). I love to wear them down and free-flowing, never any tension or tight styles. I only wear them up in my dread tams💖

My hair is always in a bonnet or wrapped. I barely retwist it so it is very disrespectful.

Most days, I leave it out. For church, I put it up in a high bun, but as soon as service is over, it goes right back down.

5yrs, thick locs 44ct, down but covered to protect 😉. Don't cover while sleeping, satin sheets.😊

I wear my hair down. Never style it at all. Covered at night and sometimes during the day too due to allergens in the air. (I.e. Pollen, pet dander etc.)

I have sisterlocks so not sure if this counts in the lock world but. I mostly do braid outs but pulled up off the neck. I live in the islands so on top of the “changes” the temperature is usually hottest everyday!!! 🔥🔥🔥🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮

I wear my Locs straight now or a 2 strand twist. 4 year journey but I love natural loc hair😊

I retwist maybe 3x’s a year. During fall and winter, I wear a bun bc I don’t like fiber from wearing sweaters in my locs. Yannie, refer all my loc wearing friends to your channel.. ❤❤

Freely,loose ponytail when needed

I keep my bonnet on while I'm home. I don't do styles to be honest. The most is a ponytail or maybe a braid out. I just like for them to hang. The only thing now is certain shirts snag my locs so with that I put them up more. 5 years loc'd and they're to the middle of my back.

2 years locd almost, I like to get a style sometimes but usually just let them hang. The more disrespectful the better 😂💅🏽 I wear them wrapped up as well when I just don’t want to fool with them as their getting longer 🤣

I’ve been loc’d for 20 years and have never styled them. I wear a loc head band for work.

I’m 1 year loc’d; l usually wear them down or l roll them up on sponge rollers.

Yanni🤟🏾! My locs are usually loosely tucked in bun like on top or back of my head. Rarely do keep it loose down.

I have been loc for 6 years. I keep my locs covered going straight back. I dont wear styles, and when I do its for an occasion. I take the style down 1-2 weeks.

I like them hanging loose. I like them braided up, too. I can't tolerate my head wrapped for long periods when I'm out cause my head overheats, lol. I do cover them when I go to sleep because I don't like feeling hair on my face and neck, but I was like they even before I loc'd up. I'm 18 yrs in and counting. 19 yrs come August, and they're touching my thighs.

Hi from Canada i like to wear my hair down and in wraps.

18 years and i pretty much do nothing. Its usually down and i will grab 4 and tie it back to keep it out of the way.....onc ein a while i take a scarf and put it up in a high ponytail, double twists and 3 strand plaits are typically what i will do if i need to have it groomed immediately after washing. I cut it to my shoulder blades once every 8 years. Curling or loc petals if i have an event like a wedding or banquet and i care to do more than just let it be

I wear my locs under a head wrap most days. They’re just past my behind now.

Leave them as they are. Going on 2 years new set never styled but will still once every blue moon thanks to your advice. Keeping them as thick as I possibly can. Satin caps every night

Greetings. When I first started my journey 7yrs ago I got my locs styled during my monthly salon visit. Now that it's I'd back length I've cut back in salon visits and let them do what they do (within reason) since I work in an office. Mostly when I wash at home I do rope twist and wear a pony tail. When hotter it must be off neck. Occasionally I need to wear a headwrap either it's salon time or just need a break. But simple is best for me 💜

I get my logs braided while wet for 2 days then I take the braids down then I have a head full of locs that look like Ramen noodles I❤ it !!!

My locs are 20 months old and at the top of my shoulders. I mostly wear them free flowing. I don’t like my hair in my face, but I also don’t like my hair pulling in any style. If I do style it, which has only been twice in my short journey, it’s not tight and I keep it for 2 weeks.

Over 5yrs loc'd I keep my hair mostly covered I don't style only for a special occasion. I retwist every 3 to 4 months.

I have severely disrespectful hair! 6 years loc’d with 367 locs, I mostly wear my hair down but maybe 3 months in the year I’ll wear twist or braids for maybe 2 weeks. It’s hot in my neck of the woods so I keep it off me.

Down and flowy mostly these days. Used to style on my own by watching RU-vid videos.

Hi yannie! I’ve been loc’d for almost three years now and I usually wear my locs on top on my head in a loose pony. I don’t wear anything on them because I haven’t found anything I like on top of them. I usually retwist every 3 months. I like my fuzzy look.

This is my 3rd journey. It will be 2 years June 11th. First Journey 1996-2001 I let it flow and only covered them when I had clinical as a nursing student. Would tie back with 2-4 locs , they reached my waist. Second journey late 2001-early 2006 wore out. New Journey keep wrapped in turbans when I go out. Keep in bonnet or slap cap when at home.

I'm 3yrs into my microlocs journey and I tend to wear my locs either down or occasionally in a braid-out or 2 French braids

Hi Yannie! In Trini it’s blazing hot, n lately the dust is mad! So I mostly wear my locs to the top of my head, off my neck. It’s down when drying after a cleanse. ❤ from 🇹🇹

When I had long locs, I wore them up in a bun a lot, but now that I started over I am leaving them out, maybe a headband

My locs are bottom of bra length. I wear them either up in a high ponytail or loose with a wide headband to keep them off my face. Special occasions I will curl them and wear loose or get them styled.

I’ve been loc’d for 8 1/2 years (about 220 locs). My hair is down my back. I typically have my hair braided for 2-3 weeks at a time for ease and to protect from the elements. Then I do a braid out.

Hi queen, how are you. I normally wear my lock dowm scarf while I exercise or in a hair band or ponytail when I at work ( but I try not to make ponytail tight, i mean it wear it somewhat loose) Anything to keep it getting into my face. But when i at home I alway wear it in a bonnet

Im just 5months into my loc journey. Ì started with a twa and 1inch two strand twists. Recorded no unravellelling cause of my texture. I haven't grown remarkable length for styling , so i wear mine as very dense afro locs.

I’ve been watching you since I started my locs 4 years ago this May, My locs are mid-back and I always wear them down or loosely pulled back. I tried an updo last year and it was too much tension for 10 days. Wraps make me hot and don’t look good on me, I wear a scarf and bonnet to bed.

I'm going on 5 years in June. My hair is down to my bra strap. I used to like to curl it or 2 strand twists. I wear it down a lot now, but getting more lint in my locs. 😢 I used to leave my styles in 2 to 3 weeks

I wear my locs cut in a short bob. I have no idea what to do with long locs because I don’t like the styling.

3 1/2 years I been watching you since day one I don’t let any body touch my crown I do my hair every now and then but I mostly really don’t do it but I do French braid them and wear it like that some times

5 years loc'd 🎉was never tender headed as a loose natural, so wild how tender my scalp has become now as result of no manipulation lol. I rock my hair wild & wooly ❤ No retwists, products or styling .
