I'm still driving my 1997 Camry I purchased new and it only has 125,000 miles on it with trouble free driving. In 2 years when it turns 25 I will purchase a new Camry.

My 2023 Camry SE AWD did great this winter! Very happy I Went with AWD.....

Love it love the review Jeff! I recently just ordered a Camry XSE AWD and I’m using my Chrysler 200 AWD as a trade with additional money down. Seems like I’ll still have all the features my 200 has without the pain of the car being discontinued which means that parts will be hard to come across as years go by.

Can’t wait for V6 AWD. Won’t hold my breath!

Great video as usual, Toyotajeff! Since I bought a 2019 SE of course AWD wasn't available. If I'd waited till 2020 I don't know if I'd get AWD or pass on it. Hard decision. Though I haven't done this it might be better to have a set of winter tires mounted on cheap wheels. But then you have to store them somewhere and the hassle of swapping two sets of wheels and marking them so you keep them on the correct side of the car. Maybe getting AWD and the very best all-season tires is the painless way to go.

AWD is basically designed for all weather conditions, and you can do some off roading

Why is there no fog lights in the Camry. It looks way better than accord but lacks fog lights so I’m trying to debate between accord sport and Camry se.

I just bought Camry xse v6 2020, sadly it doesn't have Awd, and can't level up from fwd to awd. Hope to have v6 with awd in the coming years.

Why did Toyota take the V6 emblem from its models? If folks pay an extra $4000-5000 for that particular model, I think the least Toyota can do is add a V6 emblem like they used to do and as they currently do for the AWD option.

Car is too low to the ground. I ripped a ring guard in my low 2019 Camry through a simple puddle. If that happens in a puddle can you picture what would happen in snow? No more camrys for me if they don’t raise the height of the vehicle

So this is why brand news cars always have over 25 miles on them, because the stealership drives them in fresh rain around sharp turns going 15 over the speed limit not knowing if an oncoming car is coming around the turn they can’t see??

when will AWD hit the market?

My Hyundai Htrac AWD handles excellent through snow as well When roads are icy and unplowed I can literally run through snow much safer but faster then others. This past winter while on highways through snow I ran on average like 65mph while everyone else was crawling alone trying to gain traction. Around curves in snow which I was driving on average like 60mph on unplowed roads in a 45mph highway zone. Sometimes some may say why travel that fast in snow especially around curves well an AWD system handles totally different then a 2WD vehicle does........2nd I do not believe in driving a vehicle without using a radar detector period. What good is speeding if you’re running naked out there🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

I bought a 2001 Acura TL in 2004 and drove it for 20 years until a careless driver hit it and totaled it. It had 224,000 miles on it. To replace it, I bought a 2020 Camry XSE AWD and hope to keep it for another 20 years.

Is there all-wheel drive on the hybrid engine option?

the only thing lacking about the design is the presence of fog lights. I think new gen camry's design is way better than other competitors in the segment like the honda accord.

So how would I know if I bought the awd aside from the "awd" badge at the back and without test driving it?

I heard a lot of road noise. Not a very quiet interior. Did you notice how loud you had to talk to be heard over the road noise?

Let's hope the Camry also has the V6 with AWD as well. Additionally hoping for the Avalon XSE and Touring grades to have AWD too, with a V6 only.

I drive a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe turbo AWD system. And having AWD is excellent through rain 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 So many times I’ve tried accelerating in rain very aggressively while turning but I cannot get my wheels to spin or loose control period. While running 80mph in rain on average regular rainy days I can literally dart around someone very fast without loosing traction or control. It handles more like a magnet on wet roads how it handles more in control around curves in rain.

Definitely considering this next. I had a lot of considerations already, but I think the Camry might be the best. I noticed the wipers slowed down when you stopped, are they speed sensitive? That’s a good feature! I watched a different video of one on rollers and it passed all the tests. I’m considering a Camry because of the very low insurance costs and the safety features in it. Not to mention, unlike my VW I own, it will probably make it to 200,000 miles maybe more. I was also interested in the RAV-4, but they’re very expensive to lease. They want a crazy amount down to get the payments low. Same thing with the Jeep I test drove a few weeks ago, which was pretty underpowered but was a lot prettier than the RAV-4. I saw the SE AWD can be had with a package that gives you a heated steering wheel and moonroof and the comfort access system instead of a traditional key. I’m surprised with the LE that the interior that’s black has a 2 tone scheme of an almost black and a medium grey, which doesn’t look too good. The grey interior is worse on the LE, just looks so weird! But I’d get the SE with a black interior. Do they all come with the maintenance for 2 years? Or is that just up here in New York?
