Yes, it sounds like the other diver purposely gave you the wrong information. If the intent was malicious, what goes around, comes around. He will one day get his. If it was an honest mistake, you didn't throw shade at his channel. So, I wouldn't worry about it, Jeremy. You've been open and honest about your searches and I respect the fact that you posted this and didn't name the other diver. It shows who the bigger person is.

This needs to be addressed and especially if it came from some other team. If they would do this once what else would they do and would they do it again! Why would anyone do this...what could be gained besides wasting time and resources...so strange!

My Husband has a saying that he's fond of using.. "A man is only as good as his word" and that really comes to mind right now. This other Diver is the only man not looking real good right now. Sorry that your time & resources were wasted but on the plus side you got to go out in the fresh air on a nice day and get some valuable experience. You just wouldn't expect something so serious to be treated like a joke but not everyone has the same level of morals & values. You still made a great video though!

Sorry Jeremy, I can only imagine how disappointed and frustrated you were with this incident. If the dive team that gave this misleading information did it with malicious intentions to make you look bad. They should be ashamed of themselves. I did ski camp off that boat dock for years! It’s part of the YMCA and it’s gated with cameras, would be hard to dump a car with kids around the area all summer long and it’s locked at night! Our kids even went to that camp last summer, we know it well and all it’s security.

Weird one I hadn't considered that someone might do it maliciously but having read some of the comments it does appear to be the case...the only other option I can think of is that they got the lake wrong but how likely is that. Well atleast anyone who does see what the other team did will probably see your video and won't be wondering if some one they care about is in that particular spot...you can be sure the other dive team didnt consider that option...That some one besides you might think their was some one or something of value to them in that spot. Good evening Jeremy. This has me totally confused in particular why what would that person gain. I would state someone is very jealous of how well yourself and Adam are doing in this line of sonar search and rescue or removing unwanted, unsuitable items from the water. To have you go out and sonar, search and then dive and find not a car but a solid block of cement would have me quite po'd and disappointed in this person and not able to trust this person's word again. Could this person/people be looking for the recognition and attention that all other teams are receiving and feels left behind? Congrats on the new non profit page sure hope it helps with the direction that you and Adam want to take this mission on and help so many more people that have loved ones missing. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NONPROFIT! THAT IS WONDERFUL!! GUYS DID AWESOME! You went out to help clean up the waters. We know you were so excited to do some Good Things in your local town. I am sure you will have that opportunity one day in some manner or way. It is horrible that you may have uncovered someone faking what they are actually finding or doing. Hopefully it isnt a diver that is getting funds for supposively doing good things. I know you dont want to jump to conclusions or state something that is in negative light about another person or channel. However, if you find out that your supporters are giving to someone whom is not being honest about the content they put out whether it is about looking for missing loved ones, diving locating vehicles, eating 1000 cookies in 1 minute, or whatever it maybe, You have to decided do you warn your supporters or not. It is SAD that you definitely have to do all your research like look at the maps before going out to make sure something or someone doesnt create false facts. Maybe it is a one time thing with this diver.😉 They were on a live and did not want to be embarrassed that what they found was a concrete block. I havent seen this live you seen. So I dont know if they used a sonar first or did the diver just dive in looking for stuff and followed the cable to the concrete block and decided he had to fake what he found since they were live. To me either way shows that they dont care to be real with their content or viewers and if they create their findings then they should state that on their channel. Hopefully Good people, Good Companies are not supporting someone who is making up their content. Creating content or things are not bad things as long as they state and make it apparent to people that everything about their content is not real or fact, that they create or make up stories, films, results, facts and etc on their content. This diver did put out a video on this. I remember seeing it. He couldn’t get back up on the dock and had to go to the one beside it to use the ladder. I will not say his name because I know you know exactly who it is and did not share his name. They filmed it from the dock. He did not have his camera on when he dove.

I know where a truck is in a pond. It’s Henson park in Danville Kentucky. You can look on google earth it’s on the back left corner of the pond surrounded by cat tails. The pond is located across from “Christ the head missionary church”
