Enjoyed the discussion on a hidden kill switch. I put one on my WLA mostly to prevent parasitic battery drain while it sits between rides. It’s nice to have, but IMHO the odds are long that the average thief will know how to start and ride one of these machines. In the same way, people tell me no one will steal my three-on-a-tree truck because they have no idea how to drive it.
Just an idea here...an experienced locksmith could fashion a pair of barrel keys for the switch on the broken magneto cover Ash brought into view at about 13:26.
I have heard that a 'mag' could make a hotter spark than battery/coil.there can be advantages to having a mag, dead bike battery. But a mag might need periodic maintenance.
