How does an elevator with down collective control work? 

This video shows the principle of work of an typica (Polish) elevator with down collective control system.
For the purpose of presentation the most common Polish (asea-graham licensed) controller was used. The controller was acquired from modernization of elevator and a model was built and connected to it. Behavior of the model is exacly same as behavior of real lift. The one which could be found in almost every residential building with single elevator produced by ZUD/KDO ZREMB.
