thanks for the feedback! for what its worth, here's what i was debating... back in the day, some people would comment to not have music. but i think that might have just been a function of me having background music too loud. when i relistened to the jaqen and dunk/brienne videos today without music, they were just so boring without music since it was just me talking, and i dont use an overexcited fake voice when i record thanks again, jaime!
i was thinking about that when making this video. when George wrote the initial story, he mentioned a lot of characters in A Song of Ice and Fire. but since then, he must have spend a lot of time filling in the gaps so that the timeline makes sense. its pretty impressive
I dunno, been hearing more about House Taarth lately, and the Sapphire Isle sounds pretty cool. Would be a shame if the main bloodline of their House is actually extinct, and Brienne is of a line of Bastards. Not to mention, who's to say, maybe she's connected to Dunk not by his make line, but of a daughter Dunk had that married to a Lord of Evenfall.
I also like the theory that Dunk is a descendant of House Strong when Jace went to Winterfell and met Cregan's bastard sister Sara Snow. We don't know who Brienne's mother is so she could have come from Dunk's line. Brienne Strong would be so cool and that means that she would have both Stark and Targaryen blood
But... why was there no mention of Sara Snow being with child anywhere? And if they assumed Jace was a Velaryon, then, wouldn't that be a "Velaryon" (Strong) line up in Winterfell? I mean, I dunno, seems like a stretch
i actually wrote a script for that one (as well as one for sandor) when i wrote this script a couple months ago. after writing it though, i didnt feel strong enough about it to go forward with the video, pun intended. i hear ya though. i like the idea of Dunk descending from a Strong, and i believe it since i want to believe it. who knows, maybe ill end up doing that video at some point
Could be Rhae married Lord Higtower Alerie and her sister have been described as looking somewhat Valyrian. Jorah says at some point his ex wife Lynesse looks a bit like Daenerys

Yeah it’s mental, if you told a kid that this was actual history, it’s that in depth that the kid would believe it! I also think this is what slows the finishing of books. He knows any mistake or discrepancies will be picked on and jumped all over. It must be so hard. I reckon fan theories could def help him with story lines or joining the dots
She doesn’t have Targaryen blood, she has dunks blood, if Maekar found out that his daughters had Dunks kids he’d probably banish her or something like he did to Aerion, plus the age gap is way too weird for dunk to partake I would think and he’s also super humble so a princess is a little out of his reach, plus, no noble would accept a princess pregnant with a knights child, that doesn’t make sense, especially since the assumption would be that the basted child then continued that nobles house all he way to Brienne
Agreed, cause not only would that mean House Taarth's true main line has ended, which would be a shame, but that means that Dunk certainly went too far with this one. Went out of line with a Princess of the realm.
I see on the interwebs people saying how the world book says she is descended from Targaryens but I couldn’t find it in the world book tbh But I don’t see why it would have to be from the same generation

Do not forget dunk became Lord commander around age of 40 by my calculations. so he can marry and have children then if his wife died so he can also become Lord commander we have Presidens of fireball.
I love fireball.❤❤ However this descendants would not be through marriage. I think more like....steamy night with a targaryan princess who then was married to the even star of tarth previous to Ser Dunks promotion to the Kg and the leading of the organization.
I'd have to think about that in terms of main characters. Off the top of my head though, I'm not sure about Areo Hotah, Merret Frey, and Varamyr Sixskins. Also, is there any evidence of House Targaryen marrying into the Ironborn? I guess with their reeving, anything is possible since they may have captured a bastard if not more)
I forgot about Areo and wasn't counting prologs....The Iorn Born is where I have trouble....so you're definitely right on that but down the timeliness the Targaryen seed spreads all across the world and withe Aegon prophecy it seems like they would be motivated to spread thier seeds...Tyrion is 100% Targaryen the eyes the hair and rumors so are Jaime and Cersil. I think Tywin was cucked or sterile...The Starks have dragon blood because of Jace or Luke wich ever one went...The Martells IMO kept Rahnera for her kings blood n could have bread it into thierr line plus they married into the Targaryens 2x....I think Davhos has dragon seed in his family somewhere...Breanna physical description is Targ like and I'm pretty sure the Tulley's married into the Targaryens that or her mom family did
@@victorthomas5041 read my response...the Iorn Born I'm still looking but there is ALOT of Targaryen blood spread all across that world....2nd sons and female Targaryen married out side of thier house so if you look deep enough you'll find a connection or atleast a rumor like the Sara Stark one and I'm pretty sure Targaryen married into the Riversland and the Reach the Westerlands,The Aery, Dorne not to mention all the Dragonseeds spread out from Dragonstone....Most of the higher ranking families are all related down the line somewhere....Not saying they are full blown Targs just that they all have a drop of kings blood in them...Aegon the Unworthy spread enough seed him self to make this true
Huh, something I never considered. The next books events made me consider her a fake out Targaryen/Jaime, being Pretty Maris possibly being a dragon rider( for a short time ) and therefore a metaphor for either gender reversed Jaime, Brienne, Daenerys, or a reshuffling dragon riding twin of Daenerys and Jon (Quentyn being other half of the reshuffling); but never thought she might actually be related and actually a Ice/Fire being. I don’t think this changes much since there are 4 elements to be combined to make the princess who is actually promised, so her being at most three (air/shadow would probably be the missing lineage, fire next guess) still makes her a misdirect but clue nonetheless.
based off the timeline, that child would be her grandfather, or maybe a great grandfather. either way, unless one of them married a Tarth, then you're right; she wouldn't have ancestral Tarth blood
