Good video, helped me a lot for the project I'm working on, but doesn't the colour wheel come before the mirrors? This is the only thing I've seen telling me otherwise. Thanks
Incredible how such a complicated way of making an HD image was the forefront for HDTV's back when. DLPTV was bested by plasma, and plasma was bested by LCD, and it looks like LED is going to be the next premiere HDTV choice. The exploit to create color is only so effective for our eyes-- turn too quickly away from a DLPTV and you will see all three primary colors. Rumor has it if you play a Sega Genesis game on a DLPTV-- a console with it's own rainbow sprite issues-- a full rainbow will appear right there in your living room!
Led has always been superior, but in the last decade there was a huge innovation that made cheaper, brighter and more energy efficient which is why they are popping up EVERYWHERE.
It all started with the crt or cathode ray tube and after that projrction lam p technology which are inventions of an existing product.Dlp technology of course bcame afterward, then plasma and lcd and led.
something being uploaded to youtube doesn't mean the video came out that day. he could've recorded it from an old vhs from like 2006 when dlp projectors were already a thing. so keep shaking your head while you're the one being wrong.
lol it's from 6 years ago but i'll explain it anyway, if you combine 100% of red and blue, maybe it gives magenta, but you can take a certain amount of red and certain amount of blue and that will create purple.
