I suppose it's orders of magnitude cheaper, because they're only cooking for maybe 6 people for 6 months to a year, but yeah, at first I thought that they ordered it, sort of like how restaurants order theirs, but I suppose it's not worth it below a certain volume, and it's likely cheaper to just get some deals at the grocery store.

Theres a lot of people on earth that wait for a delivery, people working at amazon, they have to find what you picked in huge halls, sometimes dont find it instantly because it may have been relocated ect. Then packaging it (sometimes that fails too because that machine messes up the cartons if they dont do it via hand). Then it has to be delivered to different post stations and sorted. That process takes time, especially with millions of people ordering basically every day. And those amazon places only have a specific amount of people working there and now with corona it's even harder. only can do so much. These astronauts have specific people that make those things for them. I think that's why.

I dont work for amazon but for something similar. You have no idea what kinda stress we stand under. Amazon throws people out if they're not fast enough. Similar with my workplace. Either you're put as a control (which is even harder cause I have to control numbers and after 8-9h you see nothing anymore. Your eyes are just "blind" it's a huge pressure) or you have to stuck up the packages on pallets. If you cant do they they kick u out. People always complain but we are only humans too. I wish you would understand but I dont think you will. I suggest you start working at amazon and find out yourself. It's an exhausting place to work at, both physically and mentally.
