Can you do clip that focuses on foreigners who've retired in France and are living off of their personal savings, rental income in their own country and social security? Also, if you sell your home in your country of origin, you obviously pay capital gains tax in your country of origin. Are you simply required to declare this transaction on a French tax return but not pay any taxes on that income?

I'm afraid that my channel only focus on freelancers. It's best to speak to an accountant for the capital gain. If you are already paying capital gain, there should be a tax credit.

Amazing Video like always. 🙏 I have one question concerning the Micro Entrepreneur calculation. If he has a turnover of 30.000, then the taxable income is 19.800, but when I look in the tax table you showed and want to calculate the tax, isn't it like this: For the first 11.294 it's 0 and then for 19.800 minus 11.294 it's 11%, so at the the end a tax of around 935 (which is 11% of 8506). Or am I understanding something wrong?

@marina_monaco yes, your calculation is correct. The Boursobank simulator seems to be giving a lower level of taxes, but they may apply extra rules (for instance a boost for someone getting back to work by creating a business). In the 1st example that I take the single person had a net income of 32,000€, so the calculation is different.

Bonjour, this video was great, thank you! I do have a question; do you need the Numero d' Identification Fiscal, aka (TIN Number) prior to filling your fist paper return? Or is it assigned to you after its filed? FYI, not sure if it matters but I am an entrepreneur liberal .... thanks!

Bonjour @efullilove-thigpen5726 you don't need this number when you file your 1st paper declaration. Leave it blank and they will create one for you.

Really useful thanks Valerie, one question when declaring income on the Impots website therefore, as a micro entrepreneur should you only input 66% of your income or you input everything and they calculate the 66%? I fear I have declared too much income over the last two years.

Good question. You have to enter your whole turnover. Impôts apply the rebate in their calculation, not you.
