Bought the ice bundle and came here to see how to mount it on my trolling motor for the spring. Just realized I kept turning the transducer like you had it at the 1:22 mark for down instead of the correct way 🤦🏼♂️ No wonder why I could see behind me so well 😂
quick question im thinking what you just showed in this video might be the reason why when i calibrated my compass the other day the cone angle was pointing in the wrong direction but when i look at my 93sv it still is facing in front of my boat .. Hope that makes sense , the only thing backwards is the compass in the top right corner .. Im trying to figure out why lol My Live transducer is mounted on the starboard side of the shaft of my trolling motor and i have it in the forward position where the top is completley level , like i was saying i get phenomenal returns only thing wrong is the cone angle on the compass after calibration its backwards. Sorry for the novel lol let me know what you think boss , i appreciate the content! Its good Stuff

I have mine on a see-lite livescope pole on the starboard side of my boat. Do I position the transducer tilted 45 degree as on the starboard side? Please advise. Thank you brother.
Doesn’t matter the side of the boat as much as the side of the pole in your case. Does that make sense bud. If not message back and we will get if figured out
@@The_Garmin_Guru I do understand exactly what you mean. It all depends on what side of the pole the transducer is installed. Since both the pole and the transducer are installed on the starboard side then the positioning of the transducer needs to on the starboard. However what controls the positioning is the side that is mounted on the pole rather than the side of the boat. Am I correct?
It doesn’t matter as long as the corresponding position is chose on the fishfinder. Also if you switch positions after calibrate you will need to calibrate again for that new position
It’s my understanding that it knows based on the flipped setting as well. See note from manual on this setting. Flipped Sets the orientation of the Panoptix sonar view when the down view transducer is installed with the cables pointing toward the port side of the boat.
@@GuideMasterMike I get your problem doesn’t have anything to do with transducer angle but more to do with pitch angel. Check this video out. Garmin Livescope Pitch Angle: What Is It? How Do I Adjust It? Shoal Hat Winner!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KULuhi0ml7k.html
Have a question for you! I am thinking of buying the live scanner pro, my question will it work with the prospective mount that comes with the live scope? So will it clear the shaft of the TM? Dan
