27 Won fk8 exhaust used to be 80mm ( a little larger than 3” diameter but is now only offered in 76mm (3” diameter). Vincent from 27 Won said it’s due to not being able to source 80mm piping.

Would this be outer diameter or inner? When I measured mine it was I little over 3 in

Im very picky with my exhaust as well!! my only 2 choices was Tomei and Js Racing. Decided with Tomei! Full Titanium you cant go wrong! lol

I had the Tomei Type D when it came out and it droned like crazy and was loud af even with the silencer baffles in the tips. Sold it in 1 week. 27 Won has the Helmholtz design muffler which cancels drone but since it’s stainless steel it’s heavy af.

@@weduhpeople8504 honestly the drone is not even that bad! and it doesnt drone all the time. i thought it'd unbearable but i gotten used to it. I love the way it sounds!! its Japanese and its Titanium wouldnt trade it for any other exhaust! but to each their own...i guess

Hey what’s up bro! Been watching your videos and I just installed the 27won exhaust too. I’m having issues with the top of exhaust tips hitting the rear bumper. How close are your tips to the bumper? And do you have any tips to fix my issue?

I won’t lie, the alignment isn’t the easiest part, you just need to mess with your bushings hangers and the V-band clamp if your turn the exhaust pipe slightly then retighten the clamp should give you a bit of slack, hope this helps

Hey man, how do you like the exhaust system since owning it and having it on for a few months? Also how's the drone? My current exhaust system drones pretty bad whenever I'm on the freeway and I give it any gas, the entire cabin starts to drone and my seats start to vibrate. So I'm considering get the 27WON if there's little to no drone or the HKS Legamax right now.

@@KevinRamirez-yx6ty That's what I'm aiming for lol, mine drones way too much on the highway and after driving for an hour or two, my ears are ringing. Does your 27won have the howling sound that people talk about? Also do your seats vibrate a lot when you give it light throttle on the highway when cruising at 70 to 80mph?

Did the exhuast come with the gasket flange? I bought second hand. And it didn't come with that. Would I be able to use the stock one from oem? Or does it not have it?

Only gasket I’m aware of is the one connecting to the front pipe to the downpipe, I don’t think there are gaskets between the v band clamps! I haven’t done it in a while however

@@KevinRamirez-yx6ty yeah I was missing that one from down to front pipe. Bought one that fit the diameter but bolt pattern was slightly off which was annoying. So I made my own instead!

buf ya esperando el video de como suena eso en marcha,me da k va a ser brutal bro,por cierto yo tampoco le he quitado el fake sound al mio,me hace de placebo de momento ,solo me desagrada al reducir con el rev ,pero se quedara asi ,al ponerle escape suena mejor pero se pierde confort.me pasa como a ti

exhaust looks cool but i was hoping it would have a more distinct sound with all that fancy piping. it sounds the same as all the other exhausts, lol

I’ll be doing a sound clip video soon, but yeah it’s not super loud, under normal driving conditions it sounds very similar to stock, I was going for something on the quiet side so I’m happy with it, but the fancy piping does make it look loud lol

I will say tho, when you get on it, it does sound very good! I love it, almost no drone or anything
