It was on Lenovo's website for $599 when I got mine in December, and it's fantastic. I also have a Legion 5 Pro-16ACH6H RTX3070 Laptop and love the build quality and ease of expandability, and plan on bumping up the SSD on the Chromebook as well, as I want to have a Linux dual boot setup. Plus I do a lot of Word and Excel work, so I preferred the consistently superior Lenovo keyboard, not to mention the numeric keypad. Sure, why not use the Legion instead? I'm looking for something like a Chromebook that has a long battery life and is lightweight, that I can run Office on with the same display size/resolution as the Legion, and of course, awesome gaming on the go! Just my two cents. BTW, another great informative video!!👍
Just purchased the Acer 516 GE at Best Buy on sale for $499. It was a no-brainer after watching your review and you said it was worth the $649, so it was a no-brainer to grab it for $499. This thing is a beast. The only change I made I put a gigabyte of RAM in there wD black sn750.
The P-Series processor is going to be quite a bit faster for the native Steam games as well as the ddr5 on the Acer is going to make a large difference
From all the reviews I have read it seems the Lenovo battery always beats the Acer in a major way .. up to 12 hours on the Lenovo and the Acer seems at most 9 hours.
