Dr. Erika Moody is a physiatrist with Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, currently practicing at our office in Houston, Texas. Dr. Moody practiced in Houston for three years with a particular focus on pain management, using advanced treatment modalities such as ultrasound-guided pain injections. She has completed a 300+ hour medical acupuncture certification through the Integrated Structural Acupuncture course. She wants to use every tool at our disposal. She believes that treating pain requires a multifaceted approach for recovery, with a goal is to relieve pain and help people feel better, as well as focusing on meeting measurable goals in improving physical function.
Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles.
