Tips : If you want to play the same solo game that your friend is playing, you just need to block steam in your firewall in output by adding a rules blocking your steam.exe (litteral trad from french "traffic rule when leaving") and after that restart your steam and you will be in a "real forced offline mode" (because being in normal offline mode of steam is not a real offline mode steam can still see if your friends is playing) and so you can play the game, no worries for the error message "saying no save cloud" it would rework when you delete the rule in your firewall and so being connected to the steam server and upload your save in the steamcloud so you don't lose any progression. You can turnoff your internet to but, you will no longer have internet for browser and others (fiveheads, i know) For online games like baldur gate 3 coop : Do the same as upper but here you would need to have hamachi install so you can play in lan without being in lan. (i let you check how to use hamachi pretty simple but can be harder if you're not familiar with this type of programm)

With the new Steam Families, you now have the "Ability to play a family member’s game simultaneously, even if another game is being played.". This news in the video is outdated compared to the latest updates on Steam Families, that's been around for 2-3 months already.
@@blankequinox2899 this is from the march update i havnt tried it myself so maybe it didnt get used " multiple family members can play different shared games simultaneously as long as enough total copies are owned by the whole family. If two people want to play the same game at the same time, someone else would need to buy another copy"
the one which have all the games in case if thats you and your friend who dont have game will be your friends account and after enabling family sharing your friend can access your library and play any game (if allowed by the developer of the game
