Dolphins defense looks good but might need one more starting caliber dl other than that i think we are pretty set. Also I think the dolphins look good on offense but I really think we need a guard, probably two quality starters. We can still play our backups too to see their development plus we have to take into consideration the high possibility of injury especially since Isaiah Wynn seems to get injured every year and we can't count on him for more than half the season if that. Greg Van Roten plus another guard.
Considering that Anthony Weaver has interviewed for HC, I am interested in how Weaver can develop his own scheme different to McDonald. Hopefully Weaver can become our mad scientist on the defensive side similar to McD is on our offensive side. If successful, Weaver can prove himself to be a HC in 1-2 years. Excited to see what our team will be this year that we can finally get a Division title.
Our ol is atrocious and we really haven't done anything about it except for an ot and that is not nearly enough we drastically need at the very least one more guard but really two more ogs. After June I we need to use whatever money we have left is to get a og probably two and maybe a dl. Because those were our biggest 3 needs in the draft and we didn't get any of them.
We can't replace Robert Hunt with backup players plus we can't rely on Isaiah Wynn to remain healthy and we can't just use backups we need to have starters at all positions not backups.
We have to consider Isaiah Wynn a backup or rotational player due to constant injury history and we don't have a starting rg or lg we need to get two more ogs , other than that we are good except for maybe a dl.
Question: Is Miami better off adding an interior lineman, Campbell, or safety such as Timmons? Sounds like to me they want to run 4-2-5. Heavy 3 safeties that can close with power.
I've been all-in for signing Calais Campbell. Seems that he would be an idea fit and upgrade at DE opposite Sieler. His history with Weaver is an added benefit.
Appreciate the analysis, however, as an observation, and as a viewer of the channel, I would certainly appreciate an analysis of the team we had on the field last year versus the team we’re Fielding in addition to how these players fit into the new scheme. The 30 minute review of, the new Miami Dolphins defense versus the Baltimore Ravens defense doesn’t quite keep me engaged. We don’t know how these players might fit into a new scheme and perhaps doing some breakdown of the players that we do have and how they might fit into a new system versus what we had might’ve been a better way to approach this analysis to keep the viewers engaged rather than comparing a Miami player versus a ravens starter, which seems somewhat irrelevant. Just a thought.
I think the dolphins are ok except maybe a Dl and at least one more guard probably two but not more just backups. If they want to play their backups to see if they can develop that's okay but at least half the time we should be playing starters and evaluate the progress of our backups plus we have to expect injuries especially Isaiah Wynn due to his prior injury history.
@@jimmyjames2903 When we go 3 safety package it will be Fuller and Smith. When in Base, it will be Ramsey and Fuller. If we are in nickel it could very well be any variation of smith outside, Ramsey nickel, Fuller outside or Fuller inside switching with Ramsey. Or Smith and Fuller outside and Kohou inside.
Don't forget we're looking at Needham moving to Safety spot. Looks like that's going to be the first option, depending on his health and Weaver's confidence in his skill level
Defense will be fine and it'll be a top 10 defense but unless we can run the A and B gaps, we will see the playoffs like last year. Bottome line, if we can't keep teams out of the nickel, we're screwed again
