I study here and always wondered how my foreign friends always graduate earlier than us hahah.
@divityfinance

Ahhah yeah true... well keep in mind some countries have different amounts of years for mandatory schools and for high-school, in CH I think it's a total of 13 years, plus 1 year if you do an apprenticeship and then want to get a high school diploma, in the US it's 12 years for example.

Is technical schools same as ausbildung? Can a non EU do it?? Is it free of cost. I'm an Indian having bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. Heard of Ausbildung in Switzerland. Want to more of that .

If you finish Swiss school 12 years, any type: high, business or technical - can any this diploma be considered acceptable by foreign universities?
@divityfinance
@divityfinance 3 года назад
Depends on the University... if you are doing a technical diploma (not a High School diploma) it is highly probable that the foreign University will not accept it. To make it acceptable you have to do a Passerella Year, so a Year to get to the same level of the High School students. The high school diploma though is accepted by several foreign University and it is probably European standardized. You can reach me on Instagram (@dario.culap)

Hi , I want to know how can everyone become teacher in Switzerland for example literature teacher?
@divityfinance
@divityfinance 3 года назад
That is a very hard question for me to answer. As far as I know that are many types of teachers, depending on what you wanna do you will have to do different things. Do you wanna be an elementary, middle school, high school or university teacher? In which canton (different cantons have different rules)? Do you have a degree in literature? So yeah it depends... I suggest you look on Google or simply ask to teaching schools, in Tessin there is the SUPSI DFA, in other cantons I'm not sure... there is also an association that helps people in pursuing a root for jobs and education, is called "oreintamento.ch" the website is also in German and English so try looking there, otherwise try to see if there are similar associations for your canton. Sorry for not being too much of help...

Slightly different from system in canton Zurich. & disagree with "you choose gymi when you don't know yet what you want to do.
@divityfinance
@divityfinance 3 года назад
Hey thank you for the comment! How is the system in Zürich? Yes it's true, maybe it came out wrong: I see that most of the people who go to high school is because they either don't know exactly what they wanna do later (so they want to keep their options as open as possible), or if they do know what they wanna do but need high school, or high school is preferred (lawyer, doctor, dentist, math, physics, researcher, biologist, ...)! So yeah the point was if someone wants to be a carpenter, a plumber, a civil engineer, an architect, a nurse, ... they normally choose an apprenticeship, or in my opinion they should go for an apprenticeship! What did you choose? Did you go for high school? Or maybe an apprenticeship? Let me know :-) and thank you again for the interaction, really appreciated!

Does masters in Switzerland also takes 3 -4 yrs to finish like italy and Germany? Is it hard to finish? I Appreciate your reply.
@divityfinance

Hello, I'm quite sure in Italy and germany it takes 4-5 years for a masters (usually 5 years, 3 Bachelors + 2 masters). In Switzerland is basically the same, 3 + 2 😀

I want to establish a school in my country Bangladesh like Switzerland 's school. Can you help me to provide some school vedio or system of swiss school.
@divityfinance
@divityfinance 2 года назад
Hello, that's certainly a very interesting and noble thing to do. Nonetheless I don't believe I'm the right person that could help you, I'm not a specialized person about the Swiss School System, I just know what I know because I went through it and I informed myself a bit. Also, I believe that a school system such as the Swiss one (very heavy on apprenticeships and work) works when there is an established government regulation that works across the entire country and across all schools and cantons; so I don't think it's really feasible to have only "one" school having the "Swiss System" (its not even Swiss, it's just encouraging apprenticeships quite a bit). Sorry I can't be of too much help to you 😕

Thanks. I wondering why most people say attending University it’s so hard and it’s for “ Elite “? How many Punkt its need too attend University? Appreciate your reply. Thanks.
@divityfinance

I don't believe you need any specific grade for most courses (probably only medicine, or maybe law has a minimum grade)... as far as I know you can enter any uni, and any course with any grade! It's not like the US or the UK.

Thank you for the advice :-) I have to say that it is hard to express some concepts and to find the right midpoint between an over-explanation and an over-simplification... but thank you for advice, I'll try to be more concise and precise the next time ;-)
