I like your video. But you left out a couple of things that I wanted to hear. 1. Will Venmo do a credit check before I get their card. 2 Are there any fees associated with the venmo card. 3. Can I use a prepaid debit card with venmo.

So does it charge me if someone pays me through Venmo and I transfer to my bank account?

Hi, Venmo doesn't charge for sending money from a linked bank account, debit card or your Venmo balance or receiving/withdrawing money into your Venmo account or using the standard transfer to your bank account. They do charge for an out of network ATM withdrawal, sending money to people using your credit card, an electronic or instant transfer to you debit card, and an over the counter cash withdrawal

I’ve added my bank account . Clicked verifying. Waited a day for a small fee they put in my main bank account then went to Venmo to put in the two small amounts to verify my bank. Is that all? am I ready to use? I’m receiving money by the way.

So here's a dumb question: DOES THE RECIPIENT HAVE TO HAVE A VENMO ACCOUNT THEMSELVES? I'm also kind of leary of these programs. I just had someone hack into my bank account and take over $400 and send it to their ZELLPAY. Fortunately my bank took care of it.

Venmo isnt great but my friends enjoy it. I had my wallet, phone and car stolen with my venmo card. I didnt immediantly cancel venmo because it wasnt a top priority but I eventually did cancel it and received a replacement card. The people who stole my wallet ended up spending money on my card and venmo released a reply through email which said ,” We cant refund your money as it was spent. We investigated it and found that although you may have not made the charges, we cannot refund you. We are sorry for the inconvienence.” Imagine losing money from thieves and getting no money back. I froze my account and now I am switching to another form of payments.

Hi according to the website There are two main requirements for using Venmo:1)You must be physically located in the United States2) You must have a U.S. cell phone that can send/receive text messages from short codes (please note that this phone number can not be on file with another Venmo account)If you ever want to transfer money from your Venmo balance to your bank account (most users do), you need to add a U.S. bank account or debit card eligible for Instant Transfer. If you want to make payments over your Venmo balance, you'll need to add a U.S. bank account, credit card, or debit card.You can find more information in our User Agreement. Someone sent me $40 but it’s not showing up in my Venmo account. When I check my balance it says $0. What’s up with that? I can see on my screen that she sent me $40 and it’s in green but it’s just not showing up in my account. Help

Hi, it may be because Venmo needs to verify your identity .Once you have verified your identity, you’ll have access to a Venmo balance, which means you can use the money you’ve received.(Any money you had in your Venmo account before you verified your identity will automatically be available on your new Venmo balance.) If not I would reach out to their customer service department and see if there is possibly another issue.

According to the venmo site this is their wording for the question Can I use a prepaid card or gift card?We allow credit, debit and prepaid, network branded (e.g. American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa) cards registered under your name to be added to Venmo. Cards may be declined by the card issuer or Venmo for funds availability or fraud prevention reasons. Also, some payment cards may require a zip code to be linked to your account. Honey Honey lol just have your parents set you up a Greenlight card they can manage the credit and put money on it when ever they want they can also see what you spend etc trust me it’s legit I had one before I got my own credit card hopefully you see this message

There is no charge for this according to venmo ,Venmo doesn't charge for basic services like:Sending money from a linked bank account, debit card or your Venmo balance.Receiving/withdrawing money into your Venmo account or using our standard transfer to your bank account.
