We see the past everyday. You don’t actually see in real-time because there is a slight delay that really doesn’t make a difference. Your brain’s processes what you see is a small delay as well. Also, there’s a delay of when light, sound, or anything reaches you or your brain. You actually live your future self’s past. Reality gets weird by the fact that everything you see at nighttime is even more of a delay because the moonlight is just the sunlight reflected off of the moon. Also, the light from the stars are billions of years old. A lot of the stars, planets, and other stuff you see in the night sky are dead 💀. We just perceive them as still being alive because their light took so long to get to our planet.
