How Double Ended Twist Locks for Shipping Containers Work 

Thanks i see these on the railroads where my containers get put on the trains.

Does this mean that whenever the containers are to be loaded/unloaded at a bay from/on the container ship, people that work there have to unlock the containers from each other manually to be lifted up by the crane? And also be locked manually when the containers are beeing loaded on to the ship from the crane? Edit: saw a vid about the C8A lock, it explained what I was asking for

I like the system. But, it is in a smaller version. Let's say 1/4 - 1/2 the capacity?

So, if you flip a right handed twist lock over, doesn't it become a left handed twist lock?

Wouldn’t those be asymmetrical so you can flip them upside down or do they only work one way?

how do you reach up to push the locking lever when they are stacked up high , or did i miss something and they lock automatically somehow

What is the gap between each container ?

Do you ship to the US?

Left locking and right locking ? Don't you just turn them over ?
