Fun Fact: The anti-piracy for Pokémon Black/White removes the experience points, which means that Johnstone has found a way to get past the measures.

I actually tried this years ago, on a pirated copy. If you use a faulty pirated copy, you can't get any exp.

I love these types of challenges especially POCs, No EXP and Monotype Hardcore nuzlockes. It really gives a fresh new perspective about playing the game. An interesting fact about Pokèmon Black & White is that if you had a pirated copy of these said game(s), you wouldn't be able to gain EXP whatsoever.

The most painful part of 0 exp runs in any Gen 5 game is the lack of Audino :^(

I knew Gen 5 has a built in Zero EXP, but I learned quite a few things in this video! Seriously, I had no clue dark grass messed with catch rates.

Considering that this challenge means you only use pokemon from in and around the area of each major battle, it's essentially a Pokemon Ranger challenge where you can't take pokemon too far from their natural habitat.
