@@creed6455 Hmm, I'm not too sure. Maybe your clothes aren't clean, or you haven't showered in a while? It's either that or he just never has time to smell you now, so he always has to postpone it till later.
@@hatsunemikufortnite poc stands for professor oaks challange. He did a black/white poc a month ago and if I remeber correctly it was pretty difficult.
@@eringancer6202 XY got me into pokemon in the first place, it isn't the best gen but itll always be many people's favourites.. Edit: plus sword and shields story is way worse, the crisis should've been in about 50 years not a 1000 for the motivation, don't know wtf went on with oleana, the champion was handed to us at the very start, the setup just before the battle interruption shouldn't have happened, it should've been secretive so we actually get surprised a little, it was just bad altogether but the pokemon were good
I really think this should've been done on a fresh save, the isle of armor scales to your progress so you're meant to be able to access it before completing the main game, you wouldn't be able to catch all the pokemon at least before the 6th gym is completed and you've gotten the aquatic bike upgrade
"Because no sane person would want to do the Single-Strike form for Urshifu" Me, a dark-type lover who thinks Single-Strike Urshifu is awesome: First of all, how dare you
Both Urshifus are equally good, they just have different strengths. Water Urshifu is probably better and is seeing a lot of play in VGC Doubles. However, it's not really seen in Singles due to being overshadowed by Keldeo. Similarly, Dark-type is seen a lot at the top tables of Singles since its typing is an offensive HOUSE but the existing mons of that type are MUCH weaker than it, but it's not used in VGC because of the sheer amount of incidental Fairy moves on support Pokemon and the saturation of Togekiss. Both have pros and cons for different formats, I personally chose Dark because I'm a Singles player whose a Dark fanboy. Neither choice is invalid
I do have to heavily disagree with the method you used to tackle this. To each their own I guess, but you CAN catch this stuff between regular badges. Wouldn't make sense to do this for this DLC when you could just do it when all the content is finally released, so whatever in that regard, for this DLC it works, but when the final wave is released would make more sense to do the catches for the DLC islands when they're first available from a new save.
I would love to see a complete run through of getting EVERYTHING you can before each badge Most areas of the Isle are under lv25, with some over, and the ocean areas are lv40+... So before Milo, not only could you get almost 300 Pokémon in Wild Area, but you could also get easily over 50 in Isle of Armor, would be amazing to see Then it plays like normal, but every badge or so, jump to Isle for new Max Raids similar to what you had to do for Wild Area And then when you get Bike, get everything you couldn't from Raids I'm sure Foggy still wouldn't appear until you're Champion and you can't get Max Honey (so no Porygon) unless you beat Hop with wolf at end of Post-Game Would be awesome to see someone do the whole thing, even better when new DLC comes out but i feel that will be post game only due to Legendaries, but we'll see
@@jordynisboredyn if you're referring to Kantonian Slowking, he can't get it because he's using a single copy of Pokemon Shield for the Professor Oak Challenge and therefore can't trade
I really liked the DLC considering is just the first of two that really grow the game instead of having to buy a second "definitive edition"... I hope they keep this in the future!
To be completely fair, by how the DLC is set up, you can acquire most of the ArmorDex before even the first gym. As soon as you access the Wild Area you can backtrack to Wedgehurst and plough through the IoA story up to acquiring Urshifu. The rest of the story is post-post-game. As for getting all the ArmorDex entries, that would require at least 6 badges just because you need to get the water mode for the rotom bike unlocked/installed.
I really like your videos but I've noticed that on your challenges your thumbnails have become more misleading. The thumbnail of this vid implies that this challenge would be done in two badges. If that was true, then you would have roadblocks such as no water bike. Again, this was a fun watch but I was a bit irked to be misled like that
@@notscorchingsands9718 I mean no but this is a newer trend with Johnstone's vids. So I at least wanted to mention that I held him to a higher standard. I guess I know I can lower it
I think Johnstone should tackle obtaining all Pokemon in the X&Y Friend Safari, all at the same time. Based on friend codes, it would be a nightmare , and he seems to enjoy that level of PokePunishment :D
You should make a professor oak challenge for pokemon prism, overall best pokemon crystal fan game and the hardest challenge you will ever do in my opinion.
For avory use This: -squirtle with protect (Stalling the field) and bite(Damaging the odds turns) -Excadril level 100 from other game to heal others with items and POSSIBLE 2nd camp -Any Pokémon which can learn payback (buneary 4 example) or thwackey ( can learn the knock off) 3 other Pokémon to tank dinamax turns
It doesn’t really matter, but you can actually catch Dragalge as an overworld encounter. I don’t remember the names of the locations, but I believe it spawns in the ocean right outside the (Warm Up?) Cave. I think it’s the one to the north of the island.
Man I don't know if I can justify spending 30 dollars for this DLC. Doesn't seem much content for the cost of a half of game. Also it's pretty odd I've never heard of the Oak's Challenge before, but that's something I might actually consider doing for one of the games.
I thought this challenge would be on a mew save file! If you start a new save file, the Galar dex can fill in mpre than 300 pokemon before even beating Milo with the Isle of Armor. What's more, pokemon on the Isle of Armor isn't all catchable when you only have two badges due to level scale and not able to bike on the water, like you need to have the water bike to obtain Venesaur from the max raid.
Anyone else hate how the DLC Pokédexes don't increase the "Pokédex" total that appears in the save menu? After you complete the Galar Pokédex, it's always stuck at 400.
I wonder how this would work in parralel to the Sword/shield Professor Oak challange? Like, you can't do the water parts until you get the bike, so that is one road block...
Isn’t it technically possible to catch every single Pokémon bar the opposite legendary + Porygon 2, Z and Slowking due to being able to catch version exclusive raids? I mean if you used raids for the Starters surely you can also do the same for things like Stonjourner and Flapple?
