Don't look for excuses. Einstein had spent ages, I mean years to figure out some of the great things he discovered. They did not fly into his head, he sat down and worked out really complex maths which took time. He simply worked hard. You need to invest time and effort into something in order to get good at it. Of course look for the most efficient way but you to make an investment in order to get profit. Doing well in school doesn't mean you're smart and like wise doing bad in school doesn't mean your not.
"It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer." - Albert Einstein Einstein was just a few of those people that actually test their curiosity and never stop until it is quenched. Unlike most of us now, who may have a question and just "google it" and if its not on google, we give up. Question answered.
I think that Einstein made himself that way because at the age of four, his dad gave him a compass, and Einstein was very interested about how the needle moved around. Since he wasn't that good at childhood, this gives us some evidence that learning the violin and being interested in things that you really are passionate about could actually make you smarter.
Men like Einstein and Da Vinci used "both sides" of their brain very well simultaneously. Da Vinci's masterpiece pantings were also very mathematical. Einsteins laboratory was his daydreaming where he pondered deep scientific questions. The key is to utilize both sides of your brain, like in the Method of Loci memorization technique that anyone can learn.
He just said that the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere aren't responsible for paryticular tasks they work in symphony! It's a myth. Both sides of the brain can do artistic or calculative tasks. As humans we keep trying to classify complex things...as intricate as our brains.But...Humans are an immensely complex creation that refuse to fit into conventional categories.
Oh boy pondering deep scientific questions is my strong point. It leads to some headaches. I kinda have a tendency to try and find answers to the point I overload myself. I love science and I want to be a meteorologist.
I was brushing my teeth while watching this and when he said the part about brushing you teeth with your non-dominant hand, I switched my tooth brush to my left hand
Tbh I think it wasn't down to the fact that he had a 'more developed brain' i think it was just that he made more of an effort to learn and become more educated in the subjects that he loved like Maths and Physics and through practice and love for the subjects he became amazing in those fields
Einstein's brain was not different than ours. He was simply just more inspired, which may have changed his brain patterns a little I guess. The point is, he was no smarter than us; anyone can be a genius. You just have to live in the present and be connected to the source of inspiration and knowledge. *Google truth contest* and read "the Present" to learn how to transcend your mind and find the core of inspiration. Einstein backs up what I say in this quote: “The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it Intuition or what you will, the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why.”
Gerard Douché Sr. lol funniest thing i heard all day, thanks for making me laugh so hard. Nice inspirations but we have to be real, we cannot even compair our iq with one of the greatest scientists in the world. Einstein is way way smarter than us and has an iq/train of thought that an average person cannot follow
He wasn't BORN SMART ....like HE STUDIED SHIT ...HIS WHOLE LIFE ...ALL THE LAWS ..ALL THE THEORIES MADE BY OTHERS ...he read them all ..tried to understood ..and THIS PRACTICED HIS BRAIN ..for a big go ...IDK HOW TO PUT THIS IN WORDS
Obviously genetics are a huge part of intelligence, but it's also important the way you're raised. You might have been born with a genius mind but if you end up dealing with drugs and alcohol before reaching 19 years old, that's basically a waste. I've heard some stories of physicists who ruined their lives due addictions.
+Deepdarkmidnight D.D.M. Also even if your more or less average you can significantly expand your mind through abstract activities, problem solving, and practice.
+Jacob Mikeska if ur avg, abv avg.. you can strengthen your brain, just like genius can as well.. but u won't become a genius. no studies suggest this.
Juicy Pear In my opinion, you can blame them however you want but it won't do anything better to yourselves either way.I think, creating excuses equally giving you disadvantages for great possibilities.
Seagull The Meme Lord I was sorta joking:d. I know anyone can be intelligent, it's just that some have to work harder than others for the same level of intelligence and it's based off of hard work more than genetics
Thinking logically, we are born with the same potential. The reason why some people are a little dumb is because they are used to watching TV and going through Facebook, going clubbing all the time etc. These activities keep those people from actually using their brains, thus numbing their ability to think intelligently. If I had to define intelligence in a fundamental way, I would say that its the ability to have elaborate and analytic thought processes that can lead to conclusions that were not available before. So intelligence is relative, depending on how much and in which manner each person uses their brain. So its safe to say that we are not born with intelligence, we slowly build up connections in the brain throughout our lives by thinking in certain ways.
You are on the right track but your theory is flawed because I could do these same things these same people do without losing my innate intelligence.... I'd be disinterested and probably unfocused sometimes but the results would be equal or better
Yea im not saying that those activities make everyone numb... I also use facebook, I also watch a lot of movies and stuff but I make sure that I also have time to sit by myself to reflect, analyze and to imagine. But some people dont want to be alone with their thoughts. Maybe because they are running away from their faults or maybe they just feel the need to always be doing something. My point is that those people dont have an active mind and that stops them from developing new connections in the brain.
If we were to use actual logic, it seems many aspects and components of an organism(humans included) like intelligence are genetic, neurological, biological, etc.....not just environmental. To think that we are all truly tabla Rosas or that we have complete and utter "free will" is to deny nature, science, and logic. When I was young I loved to watch TV and play video games and I still enjoy those past time and many other "detrimental" ones as well, yet it seems I might be brighter than the average chap but..........hey most folks know anecdotal evidence isn't all to reliable anyhow.......
james bond I would'nt want to argue with James Bond hahhah If we do look at it from a logical and biological point of view, the mind can be enhanced with practice just how muscles get enhanced with exercise. So as we established already, by using one's mind repetitively in a specific manner we build up neural pathways that help with such thinking. I also read an article yesterday explaining how meditation can actually rearrange or change the geometry of the brain’s surface (cortical gyrification, the pattern and degree of cortical folding that allows the brain to process faster and act more efficiently). So yea as long as we actually use our brains, we enhance our intelligence and the overall performance of our minds.
When we are talking about Genius people, they are ''creative'' people. The musical part is the part where you make your own songs, you create a song. Einstein was creative with math, beethoven with music, etc... You can train your mind to become creative. that's the good news.
My father was diagnosed with aspergers, ocd, i'm definitely ocd and no Einstein. Personally, i think the ant-social qualities that aspergers tends to bring on can be a huge contribution to great discoveries, but i definitely believe Einstein was born with high intelligence in the first place. From what i read about Albert, he had an extremely intelligent, kind hearted father and Albert at a very young age came very close and adored him. On the other hand, his mother was the polar opposite (as far as her tempermant was concerned). I personally believe he owes a huge amount of who he was to his father.
you just have to b e a hemispherical person to be a genius. think in a unified left and right brained way. the more we do things by thinking logically and understanding emotionally - the consequences and outcomes of life and the complexities that exist among us, the more we know about more things and the more strongly we feel towards more things, and the more bilateral we become in our brains - because the stronger we feel towards everything we know, and everything we learn, the stronger we grow because it feels good; and we know we grow, because we are aware and mindful of the compelling fact that everything in our minds and everything in our hearts can be connected, we just need to open ourselves up fully to the complexity of it's beauty
Einstein was extreme curious person, always asking why and how, and imaging new situations & solutions - what if scenarios. His brains was so much trained that this becomes his habit and a normal thing for him.
Possibly Einstein was average, and a majority of the world is just stupid which by that standard makes him a genius. There's idiots all over the place. Just today some moron on a cell phone wasn't paying attention walking right through the intersection when he had a red light, and looks at me dumbfounded when I honked my horn and scorned him while asking if he thought it was a smart idea to do what he did.
AhYoNoProMoFo The point is a contradiction. People are getting more stupid which is the new average so it's apparently ok to be stupid because you're not stupid but average now. So that must make me intelligent to these "average" people. Are you Average yourself?
I think that Einstein made himself that way, it's just like exercising you know, you use a muscle too often, it grows to meet your needs, he exercised his brain. I think his gift was not brilliance but the ability to concentrate and be persistent when it comes to an unsolved problem.
There's a lot of argument over whether it was done with or without his prior consent, but it was taken out by the pathologist that performed his autopsy. If it genuinely was done without his permission, then I guess the guy just thought there must be something special about the brain of someone that brilliant and that studying it would have value. -Anthony
If you like space and all that, research about it then make a scientifical investigation of what will happen next, we dont know everything so people like you can help learn more about it, remember this= Knowlage+observation-> hypothisis->prediction-> investigation.
Albert Einstein had an alien brain structure but what immortalized his name was his contributions to the field of Science with 6 decades of dedication.
@@okramra There is a positive relationship between grades and intelligence, but high grades in school doesn't necessarily make one smart. It test your ability to repeat what you've learned and how, to a minimal extent apply to real life. There are a shi* load of 4.0 who took debts that will be detrimental to their life, 4.0 with worthless degrees and 4.0s with low social intelligence. Also I can tell you aren't too bright when you implied from my comments that a low grade makes you better than a higher grade. Just because a 4.0 doesn't necessarily imply you are smart, a low score also doesn't necessarily imply you are dumb or smart. There are many variables such as motivation, priorities, time etc...
alexander wanda Definitely, It helps with language skills. Researchers found that musicians are better than non-musicians in learning to incorporate sound patterns for a new language into words.
I'm sure most people could get smarter by doing some of these recommendations consistently, but genius's are genius whenever their born. As Einstein took a IQ test when he was 10-16 years old and scored a 160 IQ. So...
he has the same brain as we do. I will tell you something: in high school I was the best and fastest in math, tell I start to use the calculator. then that ability started to go down, because I completely relied on the calculator. after I finished the the high school. I realized that my brain don't calculate as fast as in the past. then I stopped using the calculator, and I my skill become fast again, but there is nothing these days for me to calculate. and here I want to remind you that constantly practices is the key to be great at any skill. and deep thinking, doing math, matching things, and language are skills you should improve all the time.
I've been playing games my whole life. This should help with it as well? I think Einstein used some studies to get into one direction, but in general I think he was smarter because of one reason. He probebly asked "Why?" alot. He probebly didn't try to find an answer in a book or on the Internet (like it existed), but he rather tried to figure out stuff for himself. What I see today is alot of people surfing the web for answers, but could it be that those answers are only relevant to our society today and are in fact not "the right way"? Edit: Today I'm usually the guy in a room disagreeing with everyone. Not for the sake of disagree, but rather to open everyones mind. Humans work like wolves in a way. We follow the people we trust and believe in. This sort of thinking is the most unhealthy behavior Internet brought to our and the next generation of kids. To raise our awareness and thinking to be synced. Agree with me or not, hopefully you'll atleast learn that stating my own view on the world is more important than being right in todays society. In the future when we're all dead they mind find me or you as the new "Einstein", just that people don't realise it today. My advise: If you want to be like Einstein. Educate yourself with a few facts that are proven right by society. Question these facts and try to prove them wrong, get your own understanding of them. Think philosofically. Move out from the city without a computer, smartphone or TV, go offline. Start question your own interests the same way you did with the facts. Come back when you have your vision and invent your own life and view of the world.
I learnt this method of thinking when I was just 11. When I see your comment, I thought you were a bit slow and don't actually understand a new style of method of understanding. If you were to learn science, you should already adapt the skill of which you're talking about. For a high grade student like me, I think in a different style. Much like sciences I use the proof and adapt it of what I know to see if it's true or not. Not only that, I use my common sense to understand and think of a different angle for my next action. If I were pressured, I would analyze the situation, recap them in my head and then think my next move based on what I found in my area around me. It may sound that's brain would do already. But it does it naturally for you. If you actually adapt your brain and your mental brain to think of the same thing. You can develop quite some sharp analyse skill
The true meaning of life is easily found after understanding that time is an illusion and a loop our brain created , infinity and nothingness, and the concept of multi-universe. I figured it out when I was 8-9 years old.......
Even if he was born better you’d have to open everyone’s brain to see how different his really was. There’s probably a ton of ppl with even better brains then Einstein’s that are simply unknown to us.
this is really stupid , people should stop looking for excuses to explain their stupidity , Einstein wasn't special and he repeated this several times, he just liked to think.
+Tera Fulano please look at the formulas for general relativity (assuming you are educated enough to do so) if you think he wasn't special, you must not know much about physics, mathematics nor science for that matter.
+Tera Fulano Such ignorance. You're the one that's making an excuse by saying einstein wasn't special. You probably think everyone can be like him dontcha? Not to mention, all because the person themself said they weren't special.. doesn't mean they weren't.. Einstein was very modest.
it could also be said that he was born even lesser intelligent than a below average person but his ways and extraordinary efforts that he made knowingly or unknowingly made him great
I think that Einstein was both, born better and made himself better; maybe the conditions of that earlier era, that he was brought up to, made him smarter. Maybe he was already a little smarter, like people in modern day. Though, who really knows...?
Caron Pascual People in the "modern day" are no smarter than those of 100 years ago, I can assure you. In fact, giving secondary school children tests that were used in the 1950's and 1960's show just how much this is true. Our Education system is a joke, with grade margins constantly eroded for the last 30 years, to the point where today we have young people leaving school at such a sub-standard level of Education, it hardly seems worth the immense public spending that goes into it. Teachers are underqualified and underperforming. They are underpaid, stressed and their hands are tied by the various Lawyer vampires that patrol the edges of the Education system waiting to pounce on any adult daring to stray from the strict, liberal pandering that classes as teaching mechanics of today. The parents of the little cherubs make it worse, in a sue happy West they are only too glad to show just how much they value their childs well-being by having teachers thrown in jail for yelling at their Little Jimmy as he throws his chairs around in tantrums and resorts to removing him from the classrooms by force. I can assure you, Caron, that our society is dumb as fuck, compared to what it should be. And it will remain so, as long as idiots (like you) continue to falsely believe otherwise, without once stopping to open your mind, do some research and engage a little critical thinking. Einstein would want you to.
I think he was just a normal person, but the growth rate of his mind was faster than normal people. So also he developed his mind by practice and hard work
You need to be born with such a superior brain like Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci , Stephen Hawking, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Thomas Alva Eddison, Alexander Graham Bell, to name a few. Otherwise we ordinary people need to work really hard to even achieve a fraction of what these great minds have done. .
l0kidaf00l Nope, many psychologists actually agree that genetics does play a big role as well. It's not an excuse either, he's not saying not to try, hes basically just saying don't expect to be like them since that's very unlikely.
lmfao you aren't just BORN with an amazing brain. your brain builds itself and eventually kills off a shit load of brain cells during a very young age (brain cells that the brain hasn't used thus far). now neurogenesis (creating of neurons) is rare in adulthood but it can happen. anyways the BIG thing is the CONNECTIONS you manage to create during your lifetime. if BY any chance you happen to have a certain type of innate being (what you are; specific traits, attitudes, temperaments, etc) and you PERCEIVE you environment in certain various ways WHICH in time SHAPES your own neuro patterns....then yes you CAN become very smart. a GENIUS brain CAN be born or accidently created through certain neuro connections, like people with perfect memory, or people who can do EXTREMELY complex math equations without a calculator, BUT albert's brain became the way it did, NOT only because he had a healthy brain, but also because his PERCEPTION and IMAGINATION shaped it that way, NOT only that but he's environment FED that knowledge and gave him MORE leverage. either your way of thinking is a bit off and you shouldn't put that "I was born this way" stamp on your forehead just yet. the brain is the MOST complex system known to man thus far (most of all, the human brain).
adrian galindo i disagree with a lot of things that you said, but it's too much to respond to. But you keep thinking that you can just make yourself a genius. And no one just makes connections for perfect memory, try all you want. It will get better, but trying/practicing only does so much, genetics will always play a role in that. I'm realistic, i don't give others or myself false hope.
It doesn't matter how Einstein became smart, but it' dose matter on how you will become smart, just don't judge yourself on other people be yourself.....
I think it was a mixture of many things. He certainly got the right brain right out of the box and he noticed (yes, he did); then he trained it hard and used it a lot, all at the right time and place in history. Plus, he always made unique questions for which he was happily ready and gracefully motivated to develop uncanny answers, because he was a rebel and imaginative man. Yet, he managed to live a guy's pretty common personal life, hardly understanding women, as we all do, for instance. Einstein was relativity all by himself!
What is interesting to me is that all other subjects didn’t interest him...and concentrating on one thing is pretty amazing...But most great men and women are the same ..in that respect ...painter ...writer ..any human endeavour ....so if you are interested in something stick to it like he did...for your own sake not for the world ...if they like it that is great too ..
It has to be just like psychopathy and other anti-social personality disorders, a combination of the genes his was born with and the environmental factors that cultivated his genius with the theory of general relativity etc.
If Einstein had not enrolled at the polytechnic institute he would not have been taught the theoretical psychics in order to express and speak in, but I believe some genius is innate and he would have used his intelligence in some other expression in life.
genetics plays a huge part, but it all boils down to the ability to block crap out, regardless of whether it's internal dialogue or environmental noise/clutter.
I strongly believe he made him self that way , he wasn’t very smart as a kid he was failing school etc. He adapted his brain to think and learn activity’s on a daily routine . He was always exercising his brain to become the genius he truly was.
There are two main reasons why Einstein discovered such complex ecuations that the average person simply cannot. His extreme intellect and willingness to put it to good use aka "working hard". I apologize sorry for any grammatical errors.
he was normal in all areas. he worked on fixing problems and helping people learn and cure learning issues. maybe with acting those complications as examples and giving solutions as to fix and problem solve them on your own. thank you for this video.
Very interesting video, thanks! Did you make this video before they found his parietal lobe on one side to be 20% larger, and that he had 17% more neurons? It's also common knowledge that we only use a tiny percentage of our brain. BBC did a documentary on 5 individuals and the most intelligent had a lot of gray matter, but a close second was a guy with an average size brain and they determined that he just learned how to use it more, so that is a factor too.
Einstein actually asked his teacher on day that how could he develop his brain so his teacher told him in a sentence that practice makes perfect. So then keep his teachers words in him mind he practiced and achieved his goal
Yes he was a hard worker and put a lot of effort and time in his work but his brain structure gave him that extra push which led him to be one of the greatest scientist/mathematicians in the world
Gabriel Boykin there are people who have higher IQ level than Einstein's. People like Einstein have creative minds, and its impossible to calculate an IQ level of an creative mind so basically everyone who has a creative mind "can be" -or maybe not- smarter than Einstein by that I mean people who have creative minds have different results each time when they do an IQ test. I think to be considered as "smart" by others you have to use your creative mind in right ways. For example Einstein chose to be professor and discovered many things, but someone else who has a creative mind just like Einstein might choose to stay at their farm and build basic mechanical machines the make their farm life easier.
Tony stark Endosym nah even with poor spelling you can! i mean i am nearly as smart as him by using small and some big words :Pnot math though... No one likes math not even einstein... Einstein didn't even know what the squar root of 160 is!
Or he just STUDIES a lot !!! Physics needs lots of studies and a person who are INTERESTED in the content. Once you have this two ''things'' the magic happens. We have great personalities today who are interested in something and devoted they lives to learn and do that what they believe are amazing. Think about fox example Steve Vai, or Tiger Woods, or Roger Federer. Anyone who are truly recognized by the effort and results conquered. All of them and many other are succeed cause they love what they do, but love in a way who wants to become the BEST in they areas. I believe whats the same about Einstein. He LOVES PHYSICS, so he study so much. What do you think ?
You are exactly right, man. You gotta have an internal aspiration for the field, and if you have it, you must study hard, starting as early as you feel it's possible to you.
i think Einstein was the exact same as anyone of us. the only differences are his experiences and his motivation to change the way we think about physics. anyone, even you, can do anything if you have enough cause do do so
The Unforgiven your right and I wasn't trying to make fun of autism I get bullied at school a lot for having autism so I definitely agree with you when you said its not funny
The idea isn't how much we physically use, but how much potential is wasted. Like industry, our brains could hypothetically function at maximum capacity or potential, but generally operate with far lower and more relaxed levels of effort. Maybe 10%, maybe 80%, I'm not sure.
I think they are both complementary to the mind of course we are talking about Einstein is a creation of genius as well as the continuous development of the imagination.
